  1. Hi Folks, can you recommend any good reasonably priced body shops to help me get my VR back on the road. The car failed MOT due to sills being knackered. I want to get the body work, rust and sills replaced first and get the car taxed/motd and then would like to get it re-sprayed with some more tweaks. As the car is not taxed etc I don't want to drive it, it starts etc, but has not been driven for 4 years. This is how the car used to look before I bumped my head.... Thanks! And yes i'm a fool for letting the car sit and do nothing!
  2. Hey Can anyone recommend any good body shops in W London to repair/replace sills, any rough ideas on how much this will cost? Thanks!
  3. Also does anyone know where I can get hold of new sills from?
  4. Is the price quoted above right? My sills are knackered and was expecting some serious £££ to get them fixed.
  5. hey Guys, can you recommend any good reasonably priced garages in w london to do the chain work on a VR?
  6. quick q. Would i need any new internals if i went for the state 1 kit from storm?
  7. Hey Guys Do you know where I can buy a stage 2 charger kit from, tired of waiting for one to come up for sale. Car sounds great, but need it to go faster Thanks!
  8. lol i just saw the US to GBP exchange rate! lol who can i get my charger from! any recommendations?
  9. hey guys, can charged VRs be used as a daily? I don't personally know anyone who has one, but reading on the forums no one drives it as a daily. Is that because the running costs are too high? Thanks!
  10. thx for all the comments. yep the wheels are the BMW 328i Sport ones, with regards to the adapters i honestly don't know. I brought the car with them on. I think the original owner who carried out all the work is on this forum. If i remember correctly his forum name is 'highline jonno'
  11. VR6boy, not sure what Biling is. She only comes out of the garage on the weekends. JK* the pics have been resised to fit the forum frame.
  12. Finally got my car back from the garage, it was a mess... All the wheels were dull, basically looked tired. So spent the whole morning waxing and polishing, personally think it was well worth it: [img width=640]http://www.vwgti.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/VR6/08Jul07/1069.jpg [img width=640]http://www.vwgti.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/VR6/08Jul07/1094.jpg [img width=640]http://www.vwgti.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/VR6/08Jul07/1103.jpg [img width=640]http://www.vwgti.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/VR6/08Jul07/1107.jpg [img width=640]http://www.vwgti.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/VR6/08Jul07/1109.jpg [img width=640]http://www.vwgti.p
  13. Check out this company CLICKY. Rather than buying a new pump or ecu, give these guys a call. They found my fault on the ECU and have fixed it for £100
  14. What size fuses do you have within the block thats mounted to the battery? I've currently got two 5AMP ones and i'm sure thats too low
