I've just bought my 4th VAG (only 1 vw), another Octavia diesel, my brother has a leon cupra and before that 2 polo's and a saloon type polo thing, cant remember what its called. Step dad just bought a passat, 1 bro-in-law has a passat and the other has a v5 golf and a Gallardo. Was there a polo type thing called a Derby??

certainly does make you think but most people think that wouldn't happen to them, my oldest got hit by a car at the beginning of the year, thankfully it was an mx-5 with a soft roof, bit touch and go for awhile but fully recovered now. Now that kind of stuff really does make you assess your driving.

Insurance - Anyone recommend a good place who will insure a modified VR?

just got my insurance for a modified VR with Adrian flux, with discount through membership £414 fully comp. I'm 31 with 6 points and all mods declared including ICE. well happy -
thats the problem with tuning/modifying a car, you never get back what you spent, but it will add some value. Seriously thinking of selling now....

If and when i decide to waste more money on a car, what would be a fair price for my car. Hard to value these so just asking for opinions. The higher the better obviously lol 98 vr6 highline 3dr in mulberry 44000 miles all history recent service/mot/tax all extra's. mods : zr2 charger, shrick cams, poly bushes all round, adjustable koni's,sebring exhaust,induction, 17" splits, de-badged, ice install including tv,pop-up screen, subs/amps,6cd,phone, laser detector,,rolled rear arches, rear end respray condition: near mint, few stone chips on bonnet and some wear on seat bolster. any opinions..

And to make it worse, 1st race was against 3dr cossie and 2nd was twin turbo mr2 with NOS. give me a break. also my car is supercharged so a pants time.

Went to pod yesterday, first time i've run it down the strip.....total 5hite!! 15.30 and 15 dead. really really gutted, far too much wheelspin on take off, and 2nd, Although reaction times were good .220 and .235, plus i waited 2 hours between races. I'm in a bad mood this morning!!!

OK, i have Koni adjustables on my car, the previous owner has failed to find the key to adjust them. Found some on Ebay but.......how do I adjust them?? where abouts do i do it?? and is it easy as in can i f**k it all up??

In the process of finding a decent bodyshop to carry out the above work, getting some scrubbing on the rears when fully loaded. Now i saw a pic of someones motor with flared arches, really fancy this but damn cant find the pic again, anyone know who's it is?? or some pics?? cheers

yeah, koni's.Its been ok since putting them but 2nite was the first time i was fully loaded,tbh didn;t even put the subs in so needs doing asap
