    the difference in cost is all relative, yes we probably are all a bit sad, i also jump into my car, set the comp reading to engine temp and drive like a granny until 85-90, i color wax it, so if ure paying 3 or 4p extra per liter, its like £1:00 of so difference out of thirty pounds of fuel, so why didnt u buy a 1.4 cl?? performance cars in other parts of the world have been using 98 ron fuel for bloody ages, no point buting a big old 2.8, and then skimpering on £5:00 here and there methinks..

    hey matey, if ive read this thred correctly, the if were talking, 2.5k for the kit, + piping, + lsd(+instll) a remap, clutch, and then possibly upgrading some other internals, the figure is clser to abt 5k no? but more importantly, do u have 1 of these allready running around, i am not that fussed as long as the car has around 3oo to 350 brake, but drive my vr every day, and reliability is one of the reasons i bought this car last month instead of a scooby!!

    ive wanted a scooby wrx sti for ages, but realistically, if u buy one for less than 6 or 7 k, it will probably be a completely shagged out one, got a 96 black vr 5 door. got f.k suspension, looking for rims, just put on an alarm, and guess what, looks like this is gonno cost me more than the scoob was...lol, i dont like the fact that there r just soooooooooooo many mk3's out there, but at least i know that i have something a bit special under the bonnet...

    ive just bought an oldskool denon dca 800, the wattage is 63 per channel r.m.s, im wondering if the 6.5 inch focal components r any good? and if they fit straight in, coz i dont wanna be cutting holes..

    hey guys, guess what, my standard steering wheel looks like a bus steering wheel.. i was just wondering if anyone knows whats the best size to buy, i like the momo jet, its available in 330 or 350 mm. also will audi rs wheels from the same year fit or not?? cheers

    any one advise me as to which bits r best for the vr? also once done i am planning on taking the car up to stealth, im not going mad just yet, do they do a rolling road and a remap?

    no matey, its definately the breather pipe, my mate is in redbridge and he said carnosseur have some units in there window, ill try to post a pic.

    A friend has said that a i should replace the whole unit with a little k&n filter that replaces it, anybody know if this is advisable?

    thanks guys, does this effect power, as im sure my cars nderperforming a bit, but im gonno give it a bit of t.l.c this coming week. i assume mobil 1 will be best for the engine?

    hi guys, bought my first vr6 on tuesday, 96 black highline, possibly have a crack on the coilpack, is that just a cover or is it more serious??
