Mine has got to be the tacky add on mods, like chrome/coloured wiper arms, coloured exhaust tips, those washer jets that light up, stickers down the doors (maybe ok for big jap cars), Crappy DIY mods that clearly look worse than the car did standard.

I have the VR going in for a respray next week (two doors, boot lid and rear arches) and was thinking about getting de-locked handles (Only for the passenger side as i want to keep the lock just in case. I was wondering what handles i can use- Ive heard MK4 Polo?

I am already having real trouble getting onto my driveway, and have already caught the splitter on the ramp going into carpark in the new mall. The missis didnt look to impressed either!

Yeah, we noticed that the whole n/s was that bit lower. :S So it will defo need adjusting a bit, hopefully in time for the Combe.

Mate, i want the front lowered 5mm now. That n/s side is definately lower than the drivers side...

Yeah, all done. Want to lower the front another 5mm and the rear about 10mm really. Got the rear arches being rolled next week so hopefully that will help.

That story reminds me of one i took to Skegness to pick mine up...only to find when i got there the rear quarter panel was a complete right off!!! Needless to say i bought the car, and spent ££££ getting it repaired. Also had another one in Oxford (300 miles round trip) to get to a VR which was NOT as described. :@ Good luck with the hunt mate, be patient and you'll get yourself a minter!

Yeah, sounds about right. It always depends on where you go, how well the rollers are set up etc.. as some people found out on Sat @ TSR.
