  1. You'll need 205/40 tyres though.
  2. Drue got some good ones (coilovers) apparently for £200 off someone on edition 38. I will have my Bilstein Shocks and Springs for sale very soon when i get my coilovers. Only after £80 + postage if you are interested. Good luck with it all.
  3. and the rest are a little service!
  4. After Absy serviced Adz's car, and fixed my 'supercharger' we all decided to go for a quick photo at Weston Mill Primary School. 5. I like Falkens, give the stretched look.
  6. Awesome looking example, just wish mine was that clean looking! (h)
  7. As some of you know, i had some trouble with the VR being driven into a couple of weeks ago. Well this week i have new problems. I have incurred a strange whistling noise from the engine, my stereo stopped work and the wires behind are fully mullered and to top things off i have disco rear lights again, so when i brake and indicate every thing starts flashing! Needless to say im a little annoyed @ the moment, and have no time to fix any of the problems, working 12 hours a day! What a ballache! Rant over for now!
  8. Welcome to site and VR ownership. 50K is seriously low miles!!! Nice buy.
  9. Ive got Bilsteins on mine, if you wait about a month you could of had mine for £100. Shocks n springs Only had them a year and a half. Covered about 100k miles.
  10. This has come about recently for no apparent reason. I havent touched the engine, or replaced any parts. The symtoms: - The noise is a high pitch scream/squeal. - Seems to be coming from the bulkhead lower part where the down pipe is. - Doesnt do it when ignition is on. - When accelerating it goes away - On idle it remains the same pitch. Any ideas guys, i was thinking maybe i have a small whole in my downpipe?

    Which VR6???

From what you have told us, i would go with the P plated one- maybe find out if the chains/tensioners have been done though and for any engine rattling on the right side of the engine as you look at it from the front.

    coilovers came

Ooooo, could you somehow pm the details as im very interested in getting some.
  13. Is that them wound all the way down?
  14. Crap tyres. I rotated mine around. I had Falkens on the front and cheapos on the rear. Because i wanted to get rid of the cheapos i put them on the front. I reckon another month and they'll be fooked. The handling is terrible with them on the front compared to the Falkens. Im scared to go around corners any faster than 10mph!

    That would be excellent. Thanks
  19. After a very quiet Winter, hopefully the VR will start to take shape again. Being used as a daily through all weathers the poor thing is looking a bit worse for wear @ the moment. I have in mind a set of coilovers, new front indicators, some spraying and maybe some retrimming or chrome engine goodies. Its been hard trying to keep the wheels shinny over the winter though, but they dont look to bad TBH.
