    Well... I like the idea.... old school in so far as a coulour of choice preferred back in the day on the mk3s... kinda like that blue on the #R32s. Good on him for it and if he likes it who cares.. He has to look at it every day. Did he go for the matching interior?

    This is one of those conversations where there isnt always one answer... 1997 are 288mm options as standard. I swear by the full fat Brembo vented discs not the cheaper options (GSF and the premium member Discounts make 'em a propper deal) Then choose your pads! I tended to go with Pagid fast road as they worked in all weather conditions and I wasnt track daying my car. (with very little dust for the alloys as a side bonus).     you are looking for two things as the chaps are infering... is the gearbox staying where it should and/or are the movements you make on the stick being transferred... So as above look at the item Tony mentions as he is the expert here
