2.9.9mpg since the day I boight it sat at motorway speeds on cruise for most of its life with town driving at both ends... You can of course get it a lot lower with a little prod of the foot... LOL

about 6 seconds... DSG is quicker... Like I said... Not slow just not OMG!! Do a review search on google mate.... most give it about 4 - 4.5 outta 5...

alos what sized pipe you runnning from the crank case? If to small then will restrict air flow and thus build pressure elsewhere??? -
It all depends what you're after... I got mine under the theory that as everything is going 3 cylinders and 1 litres... Do it whilst I can! The car itself is exceptionally capable. Think of it more as a GT tourer than a balls out light weight Hot Hatch. Have a drive of mk iv and the gti as well.. i found that the GTi was a little harsh... But a very good car indeed The mk 5 is everything you want.. Sits on the motorway 'til the cows come home and you step out fresh as a daisy.. It will do country roads very well.. you just have to remember the weight over the front axle... but if you're us

As some of you will know I spend my life on the Motorways. Whilst sat on them over the weekend I came to a conclusion... I might have to have an estate/Avante next! Now I thought I'd share my logic here.... I in no way need one! But have you seen how nicesome of them look? Also how well they sit in the outside of the motorway? I am assuming the Avants and 3series are nearly always the sportier versions but I have to say they look so happy sat there hunkered down and just sailing along... If I take the A4... apart form the obvious...S badge the A4 Avant looks better and sits better IMHO than

Does it do it more on braking? I ask as there are several main items, some of which you have already addressed. But for completeness here ya go.. Tracking... New suspension can take up to 500miles to settle especially if you do other areas at the same time (did you tripple measure each corner for spring length and damper settings) Tyres - wear levels and pressure differences... a rear can affect the front so dont just check the front. (of course all 4 must be the same make & tread pattern etc) Brakes... again a rear can affect the front so check them as well as the front. Under breaking..

Don't let a little thing like Photoshop stop you.... If you can dream it - you can do it!!!!.... Get the scissors, sickyback plastic and cardboard out - create a mold.... Get the fibre glass out.... Then you're off for a starter for 10.... We'll all support you... and bask in your glory once done and rolling like this... if RWB can do it to a porker you can do it to a golf... As a PS... get the tea on and then pop on E38 and spend some time in their photo section as I am sure I have seen something similar in there once upon a beer addled night...

So I am looking around keeping an eye on things as I know that the V6 world (an I suppose anything with a V and more then 3 or 4 cylinders in it....) are about to vanish.... SO I suspect that I will need to find a 4 pot woth a spinny thing in the engine... (in a year or so it has to be said... So how are 4 pots with spinny things at speed? Does "one" need to use the gear box a load more and this is why the DSG is now top of the tree?? Thinking about that motorway thing where Mr (or Mrs) Muppet pulls out. you hit that 50/60 mph band and then need to get back up to Motorway speed... Or you are

Right I stumbled on this and whilst I cannot afford to buy it..... It seemed that this woud make a bargin... Now I know the car will have been red lined to within an inch of its' life... HOWEVER, This seems like a good deal on such a new engine/car and one would obviously give a propper dealer once over... Is it worth it? Are there any implications to buying such a car? TBH where ever you can get the best deal and make sure they are certified to fit it and issue the certificate.. I always hang around (not stand over) when work is being done like this so I can see and watch over them... under the pretense of wanting a good look over my car whilst bits are apart... Worth visiting first to see other examples whilst happening and follow your gut on it.. Hope it helps

I found it interesting Alonso rates Lewis over Vettel and Lewis regularly beat Vettel head to head in the feeder series... Dont forget Rosberg did rather well against the 7 times World champ in the same car... SO you gotta rate him...??

'other day... I was sat on the motorway... In the downpour. Had to slow to 50 in outside lane with flippen flappers on full tilt.. Then it happened... That sound when you're on a lathe and put too much pressure on the cutting tool... A high pitched harmonic sound of metal being cut through... Panic stations... Can't see the left lane to move over... Indicated... And.... It stopped. Drove stopped no issues at all... So car up on the ramp thinking MMm let's have a look.... Something got wedged between the silencer an the prop shaft... Loverly shiny line there now...
