    Hey guys, quick heads up. The next manc:union meet is gonna be on 25th behind Frankie and bennys at Salford Quays in Manchester. Be cool to see some more vrs representing and beefing up the numbers. Last turn out was around 20 cars, give or take, of all kinds. Starts around 12-12:30 and goes on until everyone is cold. Well worth a ride out, decent crowd and you never know, you might see Gilly smashing up another car :-p

    Peacock is worth a ride to dude, good crowd. Start one yourself man if you're struggling, no-one will turn up to your first one like our Bolton meet but then word gets around and the second one is usually a good un. Bolton meet coming soon btw, I promise.

    The Gill has a master plan that is gonna be fuuuuckin awesome if he doens't break it along the way. Wait and see chief, I'm trying to scavenge some bits and pieces along the way. Splitter has my name all over it. Our rides should be pretty sorted by summer I reckon. t was smashed up pretty good though, chassis leg bent but repairable.

    I'll keep you informed bro. Problem being that E38 is down and that is where it all was formed so when they sort their shit out we can organise a new meet. Bring some pound coins as I've got a bunch of cool in car window stickers done (self cling vinyl) for a couple of quid each. A worthy cause my good man. ;-D

    Hey Bugster. I should be hailing a Bolton meet again soon, gotta keep it local man. Ideally would like to do a day where we all hook up at Bolton then ride up to see Pete and the boys at Elland road, real good meet with the usual kiddish chat about things that make lots of noise and go fast. The manc:union is a good un as Manchester has a load of dubbers from surrounding areas with some sweet rides. Worth a trip.

    You should come along man, loads of different DuBs in all kinds of shape. At the last one my boy Gilly smashed his vento up, this dude in a mk3 20vt came round the car park corner whilst he was reversing into a space BLAAAAMMMM!!!! front end off. never a dull moment.

    Ok, I can physically see where the leak is coming from, but don't know what the part is that needs fixing or how serious it is. Checked the Bentleys bible and it looks like my coolant pump, can anyone shed a little light on this for me? it seems to be dripping from under the circled part (coolant pump??) onto the belt and creating some steam and a dirty great mess with the oily muck on the engine. cheers guys.

    Not vr exclusive but a good bunch. The Manc:Union meet is held at Frankie and Bennys at Salford Quays and the 2nd one is next Sunday at around 12pm. I'll keep y'all posted.

    Cheers chief, was thinking the same thing myself about spacers, not a huge fan of spacers and adaptors but sometimes they're needed. Would a 205 tyre on a 6j rim not be a bit too wide? Don't want too much overspill. To be honest, I think I might give this idea a miss as I love steelies, but fat ones, which means getting into the whole banding/re-rimming issues which is more trouble than it is worth.

    Hmmmm, I like it!! So the cut and weld mod might make the beast a bit more sluggish and hesitant and very low revs but run well on chat. no good for quarters then eh. I gather this is kinda why the schrick works well then as that has two channels feeding 3 runners each, more concentrated air flow...ish.

    Quick one guys. i'm looking to get some cool 6j steelies (15x6) I've seen and was wondering whether anyone is running wheels like this on spacers. If so, how is the drive and do we think a 195/45 tyre would do the job. I wanna space them out quite a bit for a hard stance but not sure how they'll look with them only being thin, 30mm spacers about right?

    Ok, ride update: bought a new zorst, well, ebay spesh, magnex stainless but....wait for it....I'm sticking with the old school and its another dtm!! This time though its a decent snug fit one that will side solid instead of swinging around like the one at the mo. Should be fitting this at the weekdn with a decat so more power and she should sound nicer too. Also, gonna get the manifold blasted and powder coated black with some urban camo vinyl wrapped around the engine cover, we'll see how it looks eh. Spring caps going on soon to drop the front 10mm and will be sorting out the wavy sill strip

    Fair dos bro, how about re-rimming wheels? Surely that is way safer as in theory, that is kinda how steels are made anyhow. Cut the rim off, weld on a deeper rim. Workable?

    Anyone here know where in the N/W (Manc/Bolton) that have been known to, or could add an extra inch or 2 to a set of 6j steelies? I know it aint legal but cool comes at a price right? Also, I need a powder coaters that can do inlet manis. Cheers guys.
