Well, decided to clean her at the weekend, but it rained and some truck carrying shite sprayed it all over the place so she aint really that clean now, plus my wing mirror casing has been smashed off and now my water pump has gone again. But my rims came up good, considering they were battered from the winter weather and pretty much abused and neglected by me. Checked the coolant this afternoon and quite a bit had pissed out. Filled it up again and can't see any leaks...??? Hope I haven't smashed something up. As for union meet, maybe next sunday bout 1 ish, I'll keep you in the loop chief.

In Manchester yesterday and because they look after the roads so well I went into a big dip with a bang. Now, the splitter gets a hiding anyway, not a problem, but after about 20 minutes driving the water temp warning light came on (or whatever it is). I thought I'd bust something but the water is fine and the temp gauge is fine. What's with that? Could I have dislodged a sensor or something? If so, anyone know where it is? Cheers guys.

Tricky one that, I think the only way now to get a half decent price is to have a good set of mods on it and sell into the modded market. £3k could be ok but mine has a bunch of mods (rarish rims, expensive coillovers, stainless zorst, full service history and similar miles) and I would only get £2.5k at a push. -
Now I'm back on 16s I'm smashing my splitter on everything, Bolton has some craaaaazy speedbumps. What I don't get is why they put em in some places, they put stupid massive ones in places where you couldn't even speed if you wanted to. Anyway, i've now realised that the splitter is only there as a minesweeper, tests the ground before the sump gets there ;-)

Awwww man, I had 16s before and they drive mega. 17s look great as they fill the arch BUT I found I needed to have the coilies rock hard to stop bashing my arches, which the missus hated. Now back on 16s I'm loving it. Softened all the coilies for a nicer ride daily which is super nice. The S2s are et17, and I thought they'd drive bad but I love em, the steering feels a little heavier so I can feel the road better. Don't do it man!! Raised up on bigger, heavier wheels, you'll feel like a bus driver ;-D

Rimzzzzz please ;-) Bet that looks hard as nails with the borbs on. You tried getting some poorboys wheel sealant from elite car care? Got it on my polished S2 rims and all the crap just wipes off, well nice stuff. Coats like a wax but doesn't show up. Nice ride brother.

Still got the buyer lined up I'm afraid, I'm just arsing about getting gthem off to be touched up before getting them off to him. BUT, if it falls through (like my tyre sale did) they're yours.

Depends on sizes chief. I got a set of 195/40/16 Toyo T1Rs for £202 delivered which is awesome!! You can get 2 Yokohama A539s, 205/40/17 off me for £100, brand new still stickered up ;-D

Very nice man, super clean. I had the koni 40 kit, such a nice drive with that, daft how you can only adjust the front damping though, surely you should stiffen the rears up instead right? -

The CC splitter got, er, split about 8 months ago, I stoved the splitter into a tree curb thing at B&Q which ripped one corner off so had to get a newie. I'm trying to get back to non cc to break the colour up a bit, sill strips to go on next. I sold the lights as they weren't lega and got bored off them, after a set of mk4 style ones in black. I've lined a set of chrome ones up which I'll probably split and paint myself so they look lie these: Bad pic but they'll look sweet.

Yep it is, I need to take some nicer washed pics for you. Still got a few changes to make yet, in between headlights at the mo nence the smoked stocks, although I think they're cool.

Busy day yesterday, plugs/leads/oil change/filter/front and rear discs and pads/rear bearings (courtesy of my main man Chris)...oh, and some sexy hoops: Amber indicators too. You like? She needs a clean though and some nice pics.

Stick with a 205 bro, never seen the point of too much stretch on a drivers car. Gutted I have to step down to a 195 for my 16s due to offset issues.

Ok kids, just binned the 2" bore stainless magnex system with dtm pipes and got myself a powerflow 2.5" bore system with a decat. My car now sounds like a brutal machine, which I aint 100% sure about yet, hums a lot inside but sounds lethal from the outside. Gotta admit, never relaly thought the decat would make much difference but it kicks ass. Throttle response is way up, she drives better, pulls harder and feels like she'll just keep going. I know powerflow aint the best but it was steal off a mate and was built by someone we know real well. Only downside being that it was built for a vento

It all sounds like a common point of view, vrs as 250 mile a week dailies aren't the best idea. BUT, end of the day, as much as I've thought about other rides I KNOW I'll miss the vr. The noise, the power, the straight up cool factor. I keep looking at getting a Lupo for the cheapness, slammed and chipped is all you need to do. But then i get in the vr and feel nice.

Exactly what it was Pete, sorted it but really need another plug with plenty wires. Never woulda thought this woulda been such a nightmare to get hold of 2nd hand.

Not so much words, but it's the looks I like. Mine has no badges on the back so when you're at lights next to some punk kid in a corsa giving it large and you blaze off sounding like a bunch of angry dogs, they look very, very little and scared. I also dig the snap-neck reaction when you overtake someone quickly, like you snook up on them and shouted BOO!!

Cheers fellas, I was after some ledge rather than stretch but I think the et is against me. 195 it is then, as she will be pretty low, not too low of course ;-)
