  4. On a cold start mine is normally about 1000, but settles to about 800. Does this seem ok??

  8. Yeh sorry, realised you aint a premium member (you need to be to view that). Basically, it just invlolves taking your coil pack out and sealing it with epoxy material (£3-£4 from B&Q etc), and re-fitting it. I did mine yesterday and re-fitted it today, but unfortunately it didnt work,(might not be my coil pack thats knackered right enough) others say it works a treat, suppose its your luck at the end of day.
  9. :@ :@ :@ Right, tried fixing the coil pack by taking it off and sealing it up with epoxy material and re-fitting it. Still have the same problem, sounds and feels like its not firing on all cylinders. :-( I dont know a great deal about coil packs, could it be that something on the internals of it has gone?? Also, would knackered timing chain tensioners/pullies cause the car to run like this or would it be more serious than just a rough running problem?? Should i just bite the bullet and buy a new coil pack? or can anyone else please help with any other info. Thanks alot. P.s. Shail, i

  14. You can buy spray for doing it yourself from most car shops. I did that on my old golf, one thing i would say is that make sure u thourougly clean the indicators and fogs first to give the best looking finish.

  17. bit of a disaster, but heres my first go at the photoshop. Its quite addictive isnt it. Anyone know how to import some images into it, i have pics of my new alloys that i want to add to it???
