    This is my 3rd golf, had a mk2 (1300cc), and two mk3's. Im now 22 and can finally afford the insurance on the car of my dreams, haha.

    u can get a thing called smoothrite, which i hear is better for doing the calipers, last longer and gives a better finish.

    I also have a Momo wheel to fit but how do i disable the air bag to get the original wheel off.... dont fancy an airbag going off in my face??

    Thanks for the help mate, but, its not a new headunit. I had it in my old 1400 mk3 and it played no problems at all. I spoke to some one last night about it and they suggested that it might be because there is an amp in the vr6's but didnt know where it was? any ideas? Cheers mate.

    Hi guys, i recently fitted a new head unit to my vr6 and it works fine on radio, but when i want to play a CD, its unbearable as all the sound comes through just the one speaker. Even on lowest volume setting its way too loud. Hope some one can help, thanks alot for your time.
