  2. Has anyone got any super special tips or products for cleaning the rubbers around the rear side windows? Every time I wash the car I get black streaks running down the paintwork and also when it rains. It's almost as though they're crying out to be sealed up and treated with something... 7. So how is it when I'm looking through a build thread the pics don't need to be clicked on? must be doing something different to most other people? Talk me through briefly what you've done there with those 2 tax holder pics please Pete... James Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  8. Cheers Pete, bit if a noob when it comes to pictures as you can tell lol.
  9. Yeah it's just a cheap £5 eBay sheet of 4d wrap, whatever 4d is?? It sounded better than 3d so I took a gamble thinking I can always pull it back off if it doesn't work out as planned. I'll stick up a picture when I've finished of the whole lump. Just received another inlet mani from the bay, so that's going Matt black too.
  10. Basically I take I picture (iPhone) then I resize it down to around 400kb in my handy little image resize app, the attach the file in my post. Now I know that the image is 400kb ish, but at the bottom of my "reply" screen it says it's only 144kb? And that I can upload a further 300kb ish of image files. When I submit post it's only showing as a thumbnail. Would I be best using a photobucket host instead of doing a direct image upload? Just seems like a lot of clonk to put together a bit of a progress thread. Also I've just noticed while typing this that I've only got up to 111kb of file space
  11. Paintwork looks immaculate on that mate, credit to you fair play.
  12. Cheers mate, I'm having a play at uploading pictures tbh, can't seem to get them any bigger without exceeding the 500kb file size. Here's a rough idea on what I'm going for under the bonnet
  13. As the title says, personally I think its a sod if a job, I'm not much good at it so I won't be doing it again lol
  14. I put a b&m short shifter in mine a few years back, bushes are wearing a bit now but it did shorten the fore aft travel quite a bit. Felt weird at first but a good weird lol. Thinking of going for gruven part too which should make for a good combo I hope.
  15. Looking really nice and sleek, love them in black I was always after a black one, had it all planned out in my head until I found my old white one for sale and bought it lol. I'll be watching this thread unfold.
  16. Go to the dealers mate, the original relay lasted this long, I'm guessing in the region of 15 years depending on year of your car, then 33 quid for another 15 years is not bad money at all. (Hoping you don't end up with the one in a million relays that turns out to be a duffer and only lasts 6 months lol)
  17. I'd love to have mine at the standard required for indoor showing! One year I'll get there
  18. Fuel pump relay has 87 printed on the top, ecu relay IF you have one has 109 printed on it. Guess how I know.....
  19. Wish they all came with turbo kits ready to fit, welcome to the fold mate, it's a good place to be!
  20. The stance on that mk1 is looking pretty sexy, looking forward to seeing more of it! Keep up the good work mate.

  22. Good good, keep up the good work Pete, just sorted out my full membership last night. Been on here long enough now so time to show some support. Will see if I can find my old polo, but will probably be ordering new when the shops up and live. James
  23. Just wondering if the club merchandise is still available? Hoodies & polos etc. obviously the new forum has taken time too set up, just wasn't sure if the club shop is expanding in time.......May get shot down for wanting my cake then asking if I can eat it here lol!
  24. Thanks very much for that it's a big help. So therefore we thinking that it's only the pressure regulater that differs between managements? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  25. Even the coil pack engines? I know the dizzy engine is 4 bar pump 4 bar fpr, but I'm not sure if the coil pack engine is 3 bar pump 4 bar fpr and I know obd2 is 3 bar pump 3 bar fpr. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
