  4. yeh was cool, only there for the saturday though, managed 2 runs and broke it on the 3rd, specailly liked the skyline and the 2 mk1 cortina`s , so quick off the mark for a little ole 1500 engine

  6. radostorm is right , got a t70 on the other car , gt35 with the right tuning is gonna spin the wheels anyway, just to add its got a 6spd quaife with 3.1 final drive, 1.2 bar was its limit as it spun in every gear including 6th
  7. well that run was 1.2bar in 4wd, kept wheel spinning from 4k seriously the lag doesn`t notice while driving , plus still got plently of torque at 5k rpm
  8. as you see a little hiccup just above 400bhp it dips slightly, from here on up it wheel span on the dyno. couldn`t keep traction on the rollers, even with 2 blokes sitting on the bonnet
  9. i hate to be a downer , but the weak points now are the synchros and the main shaft , if it has been over tighten it`ll snap the end off

    Mk3 R32 Swap

    you don`t need the ecu and etc.. but you will need to buy an aftermarket ecu , could cost you another £600+, personally i would get everything, there is probably a company that can defeat the immobilser in the ecu anyway, could try custom code, jabba ,C2 ????
  13. yeh as mentioned check for leaks in the pipes will also cause over feuling, a mate has c2 software , unplugged his ecu before a rolling road session because he had to finish some welding or something , got to the RR found it was 25% over feuling, missed and splutter all the way there , after the sesion it started to calm down 2 days later it was fine again
  14. any new chip would need adaption time , usually about 300miles
  15. gt35r with .84 housing spins up around 3200 rpm creates so much torque, its unreal yet the car still extremely fast off boost , i don`t know of any supercharger that can create more torque than horse power, if you got the torque you going places, it also down to the mapping , engine spec,

  17. a turbo if driven carefully should give better MPG, i had a 355bhp 20vt mk2 on standard management with 440 injectors that gave better mpg than my standard 180bhp a3, i can`t say wot stand alone management would do for MPG depends on wot sensors it uses, on the other hand if you want 400bhp expect it to drink petrol, my mk2 vr6t can use 30litres in 10mins and fueling is spot on
  18. personally i would get an EGT gauge, but that requires drilling your exhaust manifold
  19. so you`ve been to stealth and storm, both quoting loads of dosh for a stand alone ecu, there loads of other ecu`s mbe , haltech, seems like the way your going but they are expensive, as you`ve found out but don`t forget the OEM seems like C2 and EIP have that area pretty much sorted from wot i`ve read,

    theres a company in ipswich bit closer than stealth, called scholar engineering, can rebuild bore what ever you want, been around years, and reasonably priced too
