well, i had another go, 3rd gear is impossible, it will do 100 in 3rd but wheelspin is uncontrollable, had a go in 4th 60 is around 3k then she gets a goin, all done by road angel speeds and it hit 100 in 5.65 secs in 4th probably be alot quicker in 3rd but i`d like to control the steering wheel :)

did you get the V-band clip with the turbo ? you should get a round piece of metal in a L shape with it that`s just welded on to a down pipe, markie knows a man in the ipswich area who is now redoing all his pipe work, maybe he can help

you have`nt got to worry about reliablity, the only thing that has gone wrong on mine is the standard clutch which is being uprated this weekend, but ARP or non stretch bolts would be advised, mines running a spacer, tbh 1 bar is plenty, mad enough as it is

honestly the vr6 is an animal turbo charged its a totally new experience and with only 1 bar it`ll eat the road for starter, mainmeal and desert,

its a classic and retro weekend at the pod this weekend loads of ford mk1`s and stuff

turbo £300 manifold £280-£400 depending on who you get it from, pipe work including and cooler exhaust £650 injectors £200 map £300 spacer plate and multi layer gasket £90 or forged piston and rods £600, so from £1550 - £2450 roughly you could have over 400bhp, all depending on where the parts are sourced from
