if you look at the wiring coming into the cabin from the engine bay there should be the same colour code wire there this is the one your looking to solder to the remains of the one at the back of the fuse board...

Rear Caliper Mounting Bolts

Ive had to smash the braking surface of the disc off before now and free the bearing remove the central part of the disc as normal then the braking surface clears the caliper carrier, once that is done there are 4 13 or 14mm bolts that hold the hub to the swing arm undo these (usually spud poppin tight)the hub comes away from the swing arm and you have all the space you need to take the bolts out with mole grips! a bit extreme i know but it works and you get the chance to swing a big hammer in anger!!!! P.S only good if your discs are trollied! -

there should be the stub of that wire on one of the plugs at the back of the fuseboard with a second wire from the immobiliser soldered to it just solder em back together!

What diameter pistons are we talking about? 83mm? i might cut an old VR block ive got in my workshop to see how much metal there is between jacket and cylinder bore a. worthy sacrifice!

i have used a place in warrington before now they do engine machining and rebuilding for porsches aston martins cosworths etc a very respectable company too. give em a ring on 01925 851166 they should be able to help you bud!
