    Obd2 doesnt have a bleed nipple. Its done with vagcom. Just change the sensor for th3 25 that it costs. All mk3 ones are the same just round or square plug!

    Obd1 its better on a Z to have before the charger as long as its mapped that way. Obd 2 's are ok to have them after...mines been that way for 3 years+. That link is for a different charger mate.

    If your obd2 (95/96 on) under your rear seats is where the abs sensors plug into the loom. Swap them from left to right (small square 2 pin plugs) then check vagcom again....if the fault still says left your ecu under the abs pump needs probably needs replacing ! If it switches to the right its just the sensor usually!

    Not really an easy change imo. Shouldnt hurt to run with the stat open....just wont get too hot in the winter?

    You sure they are the same...iirc the starter bolts up differently. Vr6 boxes are easier to find too???

    But they are interchangable disc and caliper wise...hubs are the same. Sorry wasnt havin a pop at you just people talk about obd1 and 2 and make it all sound so difficult. Someone with etka cross reference the part numbers please!

    All 'Rados are obd1.....and OBD stands for On Board Diagnostics so its just to do with the controls of the engine! Ask at VW to cross reference the part numbers!

    Obd2 ecu is under the pump in the engine bay. Make sure you get an identical part number and you may need vagcom to code it as....you need to get a key using vagcom before you remove the ecu and code the new one if its different!

    Known as the gearbox mount....passenger side rear. You can use a diesel one as they are rubber not hydraulic!

    Yup i have a 2.9 in my obd2....as Goth said just keep your obd2 inlet tb etc.!
