  3. you should not use more than 75 bhp jets without a controller !! it will start to fu*k thigs up !! 24 mins of use dont think so more like 4 with a 11lb bottle yes its good ive got 150 jets on mine + a turbo !!! but when it was just nos the thing was great fun 1/4 mile times were in the 13s
  4. these are for left hand drive cars and wont fit right hand drive without alot of modding

  6. not true had mine on the rollers 2 runs with and then 2 with out and it was 76bhp difference so the just were spot on
  7. dumping the clutch at 7000rpm in second would distroy 2nd gear so not gonna go that route
  8. the minimax controller will do the job theres a company near me that was selling them for £150 ill see if they got any left its up to you if you get one or not just dont go bigger then 75 bhp jets without. itll go like f**k on 75s
  9. the controller means you can run alot more bhp!! without one the nos comes in with a big thump higher the 75 jets with out one your engine wont like !! the controller you can set it to come in at 75bhp and build it up to 150bhp over a few seconds
  10. not cheep !! £650 nos is about -200 so yes it will cool the inlet temp frost forms on the outside of the inlet manifold
  11. i would go for the sb10016 cos its direct port which means you will get the same going into each pot {better for the engine } but ask for an 11lb bottle cos the 5s are to small!! they wont last long on a big engine. they will only give you 25bhp jets with the kit but if i was you id go for 75bhp jets and a controller if you can aford one if not send me a pm might be able to get you one cheap hope your clutch is good ? where abouts are you ?
  12. the switch fixes to the throttle in the engine bay so when the throttle butterfly is fully open it the fires in the nos it should come with the kit
  13. purge kit just vents the system so you have pure nos up to the engine cos you can get air in the system. wizzard of nos is a good kit
  14. is it a direct port or single ? i would have thought at that price its single dp is better but you will still love it!!! have you got a controller ?
  15. nos will not damage your engine i was running 100bhp nos everyone said ill f**k it up but i had it like it for 4 years and it was fine ! now im runnung 150bhp nos and turbo!!! if you wanna run more than 50/75 bhp id get a controller mini max is the cheapest good luck its very addictive !!!!
  16. get some nos you wont belive the change you can put what bhp jets you want. without a controler you can easy run 75 bhp
  17. why ? well i built this car for 0/60 and standing 1/4 and when your wasting 1/2 second changing gear thats alot im getting to 60 in 4.2 at the mo but wanna get early 3s

  21. kicked ass in my vr6 mk2, left the r32 dead at gti last year. they are to fat and heavy! or he just couldnt drive
  22. anyone know the law on exhaust noise ? ive been nicked by the very bored pigs they have told me that the car is to be the same loudness as when it came out of the factory !! ive toud them that that has got to be a load of shit cos my car was a 1.8 then, now its a 3.0 turbo how can you compare the two!! can anyone help cos they say if i get stopped again ill get 3 points
  23. you can not use a heldex diff on a mk3 gear box you would have to use a mk4 or i think an audi tt box may be golf rallye but not sure but a heldex system can almost handle any thing! mate of mine is running 650bhp on one !!
  24. no there is nothing you can do if you want to keep it vr6 running gear. no one makes any stronger parts for the vr6 rear diff that would help. ive been told it should be ok for about 340bhp. you could use a heldex rear diff and a gearbox transfur box to suit. but mine seems to be coping at the mo and that 500+ so will have to wait and see!!!
