Would it work 1.8t packs maybe too short, R32 ones are longer and have an angled plug which would be more suitable. You will need a short runner inlet though.

    Kev tried the GM tower MSD coil packs, I also used to run a pair on my 106 GTI a few years back.

    ECU is about £600, loom can be made for £20 and a map will cost you £2-400.

    Fitted the head spacer a couple of days ago. The head and pistons are a work of art on these engines.

    I use a valve lapping tool to pull/slde them out.

    Yeah easy mate. Get youself a yellow pages and and a big hammer. Put the yellow pages on the wheel and give it a few blows with the hammer! Seriously!

    Go for the C30-94, the C38s are a much larger and I dont think anyone has made a mount to fit a VR. Dont read to much into Rotrexs figures they are very broad and every engine will use the boost differently. Bobby runs 17-19 psi and makes 400hp with the 94 trim and doubt it even breaks a sweat. Im doing a group buy for the kits if you are interested.

    You only need to undo the front engine mount and jack the engine up as far as I can remeber. You might have to detach the powersteering pipe.

    Ive run 268s in my VR, 285s in 5 turbos, and 294s in Peugeot 106 track cars and its really nothing to worry about mate. Just go for it.
