    hello guy need a little help at the top but at the back of the enginr theres a black box type thing it has 3pipes 2 go in and 1 comes out or vise versa but the point is its make a sound like its sucking air when you put your hand over it it gets a bit quiter is this part meant to sound like this could this be the culperate for my exssive exhaust emissons and use of fuel. p.s its a 1995 4 wires in the maf sensor obd2 dignostic port if that matters.

    prob the lead thats causeing the miss when you pull away my leads have had it and does the same thing.

    mine does 15-16 all the time think theres some thing wrong with it.

    aint they the same engine but the 4motion 24v or am i wrong.

    thats what that fat bit on the bonnet stay is i was woundering why that bit was bigger.lol

    well that would be a shame then but i cant see any1 calling up on a 2500grand car but then again they could but it has been done by a vw mechanic just with out the rip off charge just offering it would be up to you.

    mine is free get the parts from my mate who works at vw and stamps the book for me.lol could prob get the book stamped for any 1 who wants it stamped just give him a drink send me your book and i can get it done.

    ive just had my head gasket done water pump and thermostat done and water is very slightly coming from the relief valve this is the hole in the top of the expansion tank were talking about what could my prob be bottle rad oil cooler?

    ok so cant be then after getting the head done coz its rubbish on fuel but performance thumbs up.

    didnt know they did a 24v what years are they from?

    if i wanted to get some 17in porsche boxter rims will they fit? or would i have to get 2 sets of fronts and what size tyres etc taking into consideration i would need the adapters would (will they) make the wheels stick out more.

    polish guy done mine about a month a go payed him 140 and i got the parts which i managed to get hold of all i payed for was the bolts 40 no bad and it run sweet after.

    ye there got to be somthing wrong i no the co2 level is well high 1.12 its max is meant to be 0.20 so it like 5times over going to change the lamba 2morrow see how that is then also i no the leads have had it waiting for them to be delivered maybe do it all atogether then get it rechecked.

    they are a bit small as well but i like the look of the turbo gti.

    hi im not sure what does it look like and were can i find it.

    changed the blue sensor in the thermostat housing still a pig to start any thing else could cause this.

    do you need that tool to remove the leads coz the standard leads with the meatal bti on the lead i used stalk long nose pliers but jus got some silicone leads waiting for them to come would i need the tool
