    well the if its from the top left of the engine wouldnt say it was the shells but still wouldnt drive it anybody else? just out of interest the sound doent go when you press the clutch down?

    can you not tell were the sound is coming from the top,bottom,left or right hand side of the engine.

    ye well like i say i used to have a polo gti nice little car full leather,xenons etc etc but it was perthetic performance wise compared to the VR6 i mean were talking 4cyl to 6cyl , 1.6 - 2.8 ,125bp - 175bhp the golf weighs in at 1180,kg and the polo at 1084,kg golf 0-60 7.4s polo 0-60 8.4s well heres all the polo details from parkers http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/data-detail.aspx?deriv=18439 and the vr6 http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/data-detail.aspx?deriv=5886 both based on 5dr models the data speaks for itself.

    ok my cluch has been done got a sach clutch seems to judder a little if you dont give it the right amount of revs when first pulling off.
