  3. If you mean the lozeng shapped silencer, yes. As i thought mine might be leaking. With the use of jubilee clips, it's easy enough to replumb the ISV with the existing pipework. Doesn't sound any louder for it!
  4. it's looking like being one of the hottest weekends of the year. Oh, and I'm in of course. Maybe in the VR as one last outing in the sun, or in The Fab as it's got air-con!
  5. yes, mk3 keys are coded to the ecu, there is an induction coil by the ignition barrel to read the key code. but that isn't you current problem. even with an uncoded key, the engine should start but won't run for longer than 2 or 3 secs.
  6. and I'm even further behind. Is it too late for a 6 year round up? 6 years, one VR: Bex.

  12. Johnny Depp is in the house! Although it might be time to concede that the light hairs in my beard aren't blond but grey!!
  13. if you turn the ignition on, without starting the car, and wait for 15-20mins the throttle body will reset itself. You should be able to here the servo whirring away.
  14. welcome mate. nice one paul. that oil leak us completely new to me.
  15. Sorry to hear about your Gran. No worries about not being there. In fact in someways it's good to hear. I had worried that you had come and couldn't find us in the crowds. I'll see if there is anything to be done about joining you up. I've swapped boot locks over from one rusty tail gate to a cleaner one. So it can't be that hard!
