if its not too close to the sidewall? some garages will repair them punctures, modern tyres can cope with it, best to get a new one if it a big hole though! try www.mytyres.co.uk they cheap! -
if you strip the legs off to replace springs you will need to re-do camber and track, dont know how it would handle though? depends on how worn the shocks are really, sometimes springs alone improve it but suspension and tyres are the only things keeping you on the road under braking and steering so dont compromise safety, some non coilover kits of shocks and springs arent that expensive now & i have heard G-MAX kits are pretty good for the money? quite a few companies sell them.

the offset isnt a problem when lowered sensibly if you go too low all wheels hit something!! usually the tell tale BBBbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrr noise as you go round a bend on the fronts is a good indication you slammed it tooooooo much mine is down at least 40 mm if not more and it has 8 j rims so you should be sound with 7 or 7 1/2 j -
no one on here is an angel but some speeds take the pi55 and are not suitable for our roads, i have driven faster than the speed stated quite a few times just been lucky in the past i suppose, i have been a passenger in cars that have been a bit faster than that too!! lambo 5000s quatrovalve! blowing superbikes away! thing is the cars arent really intended for those speeds & most dont have the associated safety devices ie roll cage seam welded body and strengthened front and rear ends like race cars, if anyones seen a big crash at a race track in a controlled inviroment people still get hu

het hum, proof does not mean a video of your speed!! just because its a single police officer or he wasnt wearing his hat and all of those other wives tales doesnt mean you can escape prosecution, you can be summonsed if the officer believes your speed was excesive and follows you for a reasonable amount of time usually 3 10ths of a mile, so just be carefull, as for going through red lights imagine what would of happened had the police vehicle been going the opposite way on an emergency call?? obviously the police would get the blame if he hit you right?

someones gonna think i work for this lot!!!! but check the wheels on here www.tunershop.co.uk give you a good idea what euro rims are about, i have ZW1`S i got from these guys post free from germany! some other really nice rims on offer too, personally i would like a set of 9x16 borbet A`S as winter wheels but i doubt the missus will buy that!!!

215 45 is a bit high wide mate, you may get away with it if they are worn a bit though!! i think sixappeal had 215 width on his vr but 45 is wrong profile -
on your licence be it, just dont take anyone elses life doing it though!, you will have to eat a lot of porridge and have a very very sore arse if you live & go to prison were you will undoubtedly become someones Biatch!!

i can definately vouch that people cannot judge normal road speeds of other cars let alone ones travelling twice the speed limit, i have driven emergency vehicles at those sort of speeds (justified by the nature of the call) and even with lights and sirens blaring they dont notice you!!! we just have to take it on the chin if we get caught or have an accident, we know the law if we break it its there to hurt us financially or buy removing our right to do something, its a tough one sometimes but i dont think you will do it again in a hurry!!!!

will 17" TSW's fit on my VR?

in theory the rolling diameter of a 7j 17 alloy with a 205 50 tyre is the same rolling radius as a 15" one so you should have the same clearance as you have now, the thing to consider is firtsly put your car trim back as it should be!!!! and make sure the alloys you are after are the correct offset and pcd, offset should be 35-40 and pcd needs to be 5x 100mm to fit your bolt holes (this should be marked on the alloys somewhere), offset can be changed using adapters but this may cause the wheels to stick out further and cause rubbing problems, get a set of wheels you really like though! dont ju -
as nelson would say from the simpsons HA HA heres a picture of a marked VRS thats me rear left boring a member of the public who isnt speeding!!!

thats harsh mate, some real little fuck witts around, if your insurance is agreed at 5k and you can buy it back for a few hundred rip their hand off as its been said it will only be on the list as a low "econimical write off" as opposed to a re shell or anything like that, get the paint done and its an ace car again, where abouts are you? i have a mate who has a top body shop!!! in kent i am sure he would do you a good deal on a cash job!

arrhh school girl error!! the pumps always go iffy on mk1`s and 2`s they get all clogged up in the mesh strainer on the pick up! like the slave pump in the tank for the fuel!! oh well its done now, could of been more of a disaster than it was though :@

guess thats true, expecting 10 year old bushes to still be able to cope with rock hard suspension! maybe its bottom arm bushes moving a bit? -
my highline has a raised consul around the handbrake (only fitted to highlines and all ventos!) maybe you could do somthing with one of these? otherwise it sounds like it would be easier to get some physio or get some stabilisers on your motorbike

mmm how frustrating!! its got to be either an inner or outer cv joint or suspension related, if it only does it under load from the gearbox or wheel rotation/steering, really sounds a pain in the ar5e! hope you pin it down soooon! how low is your car? sometimes that can have an effect on cv joints as i found out with the rallye! if they travel too "level" ie parralel to the road! it puts loads of strain on them and the diff/drive hub, did you change the rubber bushes on your top mounts if you`ve lowered it? and have they checked its not an un-seated/or broken spring? if your not running coilov
