  2. dont see why not? the seats all look the same? ps how is the unwanted paint problem going?
  3. i know i nearly got one and then realised what a huge waste of money it would be for 5000 miles a year! i will get one when they are half that
  4. looks slammed mate, hope it rubs like a b*****d mine does as someone pointed out to me....... "if it aint rubbin it aint V dubin"
  5. think i might be able to help ya!!!! i got some adapter plugs with my hella twins, they have an in line oblong plug and the 4 pin sqaure, i think they were so you can fit either early or later cars? i dont need them as the plugs on mine are the sqaure type and fit straight on the hellas, i will take a pic at some point and post it on so you can see if they are any good for you.
  6. loads to choose from! i went for the jetex stainless cat back 3 box system, with boxter leterbox tailpipe and it sounds sweeeeet and purposefull without sounding like you got a hole in ya manifold!! really rips and burbles when you give it some welly too! got it for under
  7. nooooooooo dont fit lexus lights ever!!!! they dont even look good on a lexus!!! imo
  8. i suppose it will grow on me? within the next 4 years i will hopefully have the "old" version of the R32 as i find it more appealing! and prices will be a bit more sensible than they are now! i waited 3 years for the highlines to drop to sensible money so the R32 should do the same now a new kids on the block !shy
  9. could just be the brakes hanging on very slightly, give em a warm up!!!! by wearing them down a bit
  10. i have FK coilovers on my vr6 and i have had H&R coilovers on my rallye i can recommend both very highly H&R are by far the dearest! never had koni`s but the quality of them is legendry!
  11. oooooohhh, i marked one of my zw1`s within 2 hours of fitting them!!! any marks can be rectified so dont give your pa toooo much stick! if he meant to do it he would of done all 4!!!!!
  12. i think they look like zw1`s too but they are about 10" wide!!!!! could be FK alloys as they do simmilar ones to the zw1, they look kin mean though! 10" is too wide for a mk3 unless you have some serious mods on the arches! ../../e107_files/public/1125071562_2067_FT75317_102_0238_.jpg' alt='1125071562_2067_FT75317_102_0238_.jpg'>
  13. what!!!! your crazy like a fish bruv! atleast you came to your senses quickly! them rice boy cars a tooooo common! ps you wont get slated if you hold on to the little plastic "scooby doo" air freshener everyone who owns a subaru has in the back window!!!!
  14. h1 for driving projector lamps and h3 for inner main beam spot lamps
  15. cheers, the offset is 60mm but adapters make them et 35 (normal golf offset) they are 8j wide too and as i say dont touch the arches or liners unless i go over a really shite bit of road! hard to avoid in england! i have FK highsport coilovers too and it handles really well! i dont get any problems with people on board either, so as long as you stick to 7 or 8 j 17` rims with et 30-40 you should be ok, it took me ages to research all the ins and out it but loads of people on this site helped me out, especially the ones with RH ZW1 alloys already fitted!! ../../e107_files/public/1124996976_206
  16. i have seen a few mk2 vr6`s with porsche 6 pot callipers on!!!! why not go the whole hog!
  17. mines down about 45mm i think!!!! on 8 j 17`s only rubs if you hit big bumps on a corner! ../../e107_files/public/1124968967_2067_FT75349_102_0230_.jpg' alt='1124968967_2067_FT75349_102_0230_.jpg'>
  18. thats your total closure when you operate it on the key, you need a new window switch by the sound of it mate
  19. supposedly the obd2 is 185 bhp due to the larger intake etc dont know how true that is? obd2 is just a revised version of the vr6 engine much like the early mk1 gti engines which went from 110 bhp to a massive 112 bhp!!! when it went from 1600 - 1800 but it became a slightly better engine due to the changes to intake and bore and stroke etc, the obd2 is probbably a slightly better engine although i dont think it makes a massive difference in driving they all make the same lurvly sound!!! 8)
  20. sounds like you have a cracked wire in the door shut, pull the rubber sleeve back and take a look, it is common for this to happen! just rejoin with a bullet connector or if your a pro solder it, i forget how many times i have repaired tailgate wires in all my vw`s!!!!
  21. glad you could add a constructive comment to the discussion without offending anyone, cheers
  22. genuine vw ones have a metal trim at the bottom and plastic slats, havnt seen an all plastic one unless its aftermarket stuff like bonrath, i just had my metal part painted as it was chipped to f*** its only thin metal and really does take a beating up front! looks good now though
