    HIC vs FLUX

Last year I paid £488.00 fully comp for my 94 VR6 2.8, with coilovers, 17" Wheels, uprated brakes and an Airfilter. I hit a Deer in January 06, causing minor wing damage, but the cost exceeded my budget at the time, so I got it done through the insurance and paid the excess of £300. Now I've just received my renewal and it's £567.00 I contested this with Adrian Flux, who said it wa because I had made a claim. So, I'm 30 years old, this is my first accident in 12 years and I'm going to have to pay this inflated rate for three more years . . . . Which would basically have paid for the damage
  3. I take it that's "electronic differential lock" ?? I think it sounds like a someone with an anglegrinder under the bonnet !
  4. I've got Spax RSX kit on my VR and it fanastic on a flat road, round smooth corners, but the spring rate is actually too high for normal road usage and makes the ride very bouncy indeed. I have them setup so many different ways and have just come to the conclusion, I should have bought some konisports . . . I can'd fault the shox, it's th spring rate, it they got that right they would be almongst the best out there.
  5. No they had all been made shiny, tyres the lot. If they'd been on the A roads for more than 10 minutes they're car would have been filthy ! I had a good look at the net, couldn't find a sausage about any shows or cruises yesterday, blast, should have just followed them . . .

    Your 1st car?

An 850 mini, W reg with 32,000 in the clock. Payed
  10. A friend of mine has a standard A3 1.8T which is almost an exact match power wise to my VR6. Got onto some dual carrage way and both booted it in third and fourth, my car has done 113,000 but I've always looked after the engine and have made some small mods, whichh have increased the power slightly. What I want to know how on earth does a 150bhp Audi keep pace with a 180bhp VR6 !!!!
  11. I've had mine @ 30.5 most of the time, best of 39.8 over a long journey. But best reset on a warm engine poodling down the hill can acheive 48.9
  12. many many thanks, lets prey it works . . .
  13. PLEASE PLEASE GIVE ME THIS INFO, then I can burn my copy of FORZA !
  14. It quite simple really, 3 dr looks much better, larger rear windows, less weight . . . etc (rarer aswell, how many highlines are 3dr ?) I don't take passangers in the back of my car, the seats are just for show.
