    no way rough edges are needed cos less restriction means better flow rough edges cause turbulance much like the way a car is more streamlined than a doulble decker bus!

    iv got the raceland 6-2-1 manifold and to me it seems to have alot of rough edges right at the top anyone think this worth porting before i fit it?? also my front engine mount is away and was planning on fitting just fitting a standard one again as it costs

    i have had a problem recently with a crunching synchro into second it is gradually getting worse so decided at some point to drop the box of and replace the synchro. thought that while im their id be aswell killing 2 birds with one stone. wondering what i would need to replace in order to increase the speed of acceleration? is it a matter of just swapping cogs for slightly lager ones or changing the diff aswell?

    well doulbe checked and the car only ever does it when i de-cellerate never ever when the clutch is in! when i pull away froma junction and accelerate to 30 the back of CLUNK and i accelerate again and then let off clunk again but even if a play with the throttle accelerating hard it only does it on decelleration!

    well splitter was painted 3 months ago not a scratch on it and iv hit more than one thing.its called painting it properly 15 coats on that baby. if a jobs worth doing it's worth doing well!! yes it's a raceland manifold need to get it ported a bit before i fit it cos loads of sharp edges at the joins!! bought from ebay! colour coding is the way ahead

    happens when i accelerate and then back off cant seem tp work out what it is any ideas? car is a 96 normal vr6 with 82k on the clock now!

    may be ur exhaust banging due to the fact ur springs are stiffer and therefore making the exhaust move more than it did before! like the combo of springs and shocks exactly what i have!! ur konis damp adjusstable aswell?

    well i could obviously do that be easier if i could just get sraight adapter though!!

    i recently bought a set of mk4 style lights problem is my cars plug for the headlights is a vertical one with 4 pins one above the other and the mk4 ones have 4 pins arranged in a square. i believe u can get adapters to sort this but need to know where from?? could do with getting this done now cos want to fit all the new bits at the same time.

    well it could just be the tensioner that keeps it tight or could need a new chain. what mileage has ur car done?? did the noise just appear all of a sudden or has it gradually louder and louder?? sorry to ruin ur sunday mate but would hold back driving it till u get it checked out!
