    Steve creswell, if he still owns it does know his stuff, but has a reputation from the past. I've been around awhile so remember things. Though not heard anything about them in years. Just for comparison try stealth racing in Southam, what he doesn't know about the VR6 isn't worth knowing

    As Pete says we have nothing over here remotely like that. Though next time I go to Vancouver I'm going to HPA for a chat and to walk away with some goodies hopefully. For us to have a road trip like that would need to be through Europe. If I could I'd drive from UK to Wolfsburg, Germany down to austria through Italy towards Milan over to Monaco then Barcelona and back up to UK through spain

    Just about all the R32 turbo boys in the uk use Sachs clutches I use a southbend clutch myself. Pedal shouldn't be much heavier than standard. Oh and yes the dual mass will need to go, but you will get chatter on idle with a single mass

    My old VR6 took about 3 months, looked at a few then went and seen one in Stoke that had recaros and climate control. Paid deposit straight away as the guy was closing up. Went back a few days later for a good look over and test drive and paid cash there and then. The R32 was a case of wanting turbo power, 4wd so thought R32 turbo. Was two for sale on the R32OC at the time. £25k & £16k, but I couldn't spend £25k on a golf so went and looked at the £16k car and left a deposit on it there and then

    I bought some pro race 1.2s on eBay with prada spec2 on and they were ok but I'm no fan. For 18s 888s are between £170-£200 each. As with khumo v70, a048 etc

    How are them GHA coilies. I've asked before but always good to find out after a while. I'm gonna try the 595rsr when the tyres are shot on my track wheels
