    I'm not a great fan of the R32 wheels usually, but must say the are the pick of the bunch. Really look good in the pic m8.

    Was hoping it wouldn't be m8. How much roughly Pete? The car needs to go for a Tech Inspection before being able to register it and am a bit worried they'll pick up on it.

    Parking attendants is one one thing i don't miss about London. Being practically in the middle of nowhere we don't get that problem. Just the fuzz (no disrespect Highline Monster) with their cleverly hidden cars and Radar/Lazer anal toys. Thank god for detectors, cos these roads just beg for speed. (They are of course completely illegal here in Spain, cos it's the only money they seem to rely on). Watch this space as to how many times i get pulled as soon as the Spanish reg goes on. LOL!

    I've had it since i bought the car, i have quite a bit of play in the steering and on uneven roads at high speeds, it's becoming quite silly. I find when overtaking the car shifts pretty abruptly to which ever direction i point it at ( . I had this in my E30 and it was the linkage between the 2 rods (one rod connecting directly to the steering wheel) that was worn. Would you think the same principle applies to the Golf? How can i go about checking this on the MK3? The Audi Comps are due to go on the car in the next month, so kinda want it rectified before they do. Any ideas, pointers greatly

    Gwent VW supplied my M3 crystals. FK jobbies. Really nice quality and fit mine and they're good on price and service. I've yet to see smoked M3 style lights in the flesh i'm afraid so can't comment. Suppose it depends on colour of car.

    Does the rad need to come out as well? Was thinking of just removing the pump, get the auxilliary belt and securing the pipes as u said. I will need to have another pump put in at some point, so don't really wanna go into total carnage if u know what i mean. Cheers m8 for the advice, much appreciated.

    Nice one m8, gonna go that route for now, while I source another unit from a scrappy. Is it simple to do? I'm useless at mechanics, but my m8 is handy at is sort of stuff.

    Hi everyone! It seems the tensioner that i replaced is not the cause of the annoying noise coming from the engine :@ . It's been narrowed down to be the the Air Con compressor/pump. Funds are a little on the thin side these days !sad , so was wondering if it were possible to disconnect or remove it as a temporary solution? Anyone had any experience with this? Cheers Nel

    Had my zorst and KN filter fitted by them. Really nice guys. Kept me informed every 10 mins as to how they were getting on. First class IMHO.

    Just got news of a nasty new virus doing the rounds, thought you peeps should be aware of it. It affects hotmail users mainly. Do not under any circumstances open any files received with this name: inviztor @ hotmail . com. If i 've got the translaton right, it reformats your computer and the computers of all your contacts and gains access to all hotmail passwords. All this as soon as you open the file. Hopefully not too late for everyone.

    Run a family owned hotel in Spain, just opened last April so i'm on Zero Wages and on Rediculous Hours. My VR has been run on my savings, but i've been pretty lucky with her i think. I've done about 10k in 2 years of ownership including driving her over here. Had i a decent wage, she'd be a right monster,as i get about 100 ideas a day on what i would like to do to her, patience i suppose. LOL! How i wish i learnt a proper trade. :-(

    I don't think it's sad at all m8, i just got news that my my old 325 is still as mint as the day i sold it (4 years ago lol) but with some beefy engine mods, even got thanked for having kept it so well. Made my day!!!

    W T F!!!! What next? Remote immobiliser units fitted to all cars so you can't speed away from the plod? I dunno if the European courts are gonna be having any of that to be honest, depends on how much jouristiction they have over the UK police, possibly none unfortunately, not something i know too much about. Hoping its a wind up really.
