Cool cheers for the replies - mine only seems to have an on off button so I pressume thats just for launch control, not seen anything for the traction control although the ECU says its got both - I'll PM sparkz, cheers

Depends on how you drive it and how often, my helix feels really good when changing gear - much more of a bite than with a normal clutch but if your not too fussed about it then maybe go for a cheaper one but will Mr Clutch do the master arm aswell incuding in that price? I'd pay the extra for Tim etc to do it because you know its going to be done right & not by a mechanic who doesnt give a sh*t! The other thing is - they say it has a 20k warranty etc but chances are if you took it back they would say it was wear & tear! Up to you at the end of the day :0)

If the coilpacks cracked it probably will be holding it back a bit. Mobil 1 oil is too thin for the VR6 - best oil is the VW Silver Synta which is what most people on here use. -

What clutch is Tim fitting for £430? I've got a Helix GrpN clutch, overkill for what I've got but it will last - cost me £350 plus fitting though.

I think that this is the hardest one to do out of the 3 unless you mean the gearbox mount in which case isnt too hard to do

I've had the Racelogic kit on my car when I bought it but its never been set up properley, is it hard to do? At the moment from what I can see all parts are there - ECU is behind the dash and theres what I pressume is an off/on button next to the lighter. Anyone fancy helping me set it up? I've got a laptop & can download the software from Racelogic Cheers

Nah mine doesnt use an SD card, uses XD I think. Is everyone cool for meeting at 6am at the lesiure centre in Dover then? Im filling up before I get on the ferry so I dont have to find a petrol station when I get off the ferry, that way I wont have to fill up to Belgium hopefully - gonna grab some breakfast on the move aswell probably with my 1st fill up. Dont forget ferry confirmations and passports :0)

Yeah but I think I'll find it easier to get out of bed knowing Im going to the ring than going to work! Just had my exhaust put straight, new tyres going on tomorrow and a wash/polish on Friday night & Im sorted. Hopefully we'll get to the ring in time to setup tents etc before the track opens at 5pm - I reckon we'll get there about 2ish, if we do it after the track closes it'll be getting dark I think & we'll have less drinking time :0) I've borroed a tiny wireless cam from work, gonna test it on the car tonight - only does black & white with no sound tho but its better than not

As above - I was happy to have a nose at what was for sale but didnt want anything. I was loving the cars that were everywhere and the beer tent/music. Brilliant show. I got stuck in traffic with some cars that had been to 'Trax' on the way home, I was sat next to a Rover 400 with hubcaps and a 4" exhaust...a different world!
