Hi James. The lpg conversion was done last year and by my estimates it has paid for itself already! It cost £1600 and was done in York. There is no difference in performace although it is slightly thirstier on lpg. lpg has almost no emmissions. cadguy, I saw your post while searching today, I found a guy on ebay who does 10% discount to ebayers. Awsome were cheaper but out of stock.

I plan on getting the 8mm anyway. Better for the lpg conversion.

Strange, it says on the website that the 8mm will fit fine but the 8.5s require filing.

Cheers, I found them on Motorsportworld and it says they are ideal for LPG engines so that's a bonus cos I only misfire on gas!

My VR6 need new plug leads for the third time in a year!! The last two sets that have been supplied are meant to be OEM, I forget the name but they come in a purpley coloured box. They are crap and I need some more. What do you use?

I need a new drivers door for my Vento as it has its bottom corner missing due to rust. Are the Golf doors the same? Anyone got a spare door lying around?

B reg will never be tax exempt. The 25 year rule was dropped and it only applies to cars that were 25 years+ at the time of the ruling.

Wow! I has them on my MK1 and really liked them on track, hideous in the wet but maybe that was cos my MK1 tipped the scales at 700kg! Was that from a local place or a chain? What are they like for wear?

Hmm, my Toyos are £62 fitted. Quite a difference. You'll have to post up their wear rates for comparison.

I use Toyo T1-Rs, very good on track but they are soft and don't get a lot of miles out of them. A huge leap over the T1-S though. I need 4 tyres at the mo, how much were yours?

160 in my 200SX (modified) up the M1 at 2.30am.

I run on gas and notice no difference in performance.

230 miles absolute max from my OBD1 on petrol, 210 on gas. Higher figures probably attainable with easier driving but I didn't buy the fleet for that!

Yep. My brother runs the Maroon one and sadly is in th eprocess of killing it. The other two are mine. The white one is LPG powered, grey one will be for sale soon.
