  1. Sorted, got the intake off, not sitting in the garden! Didn't get any of the wiring leading to the lil box on the ECU though, car will still be there next week, so can grab that then if i can find out what to do... A lil vavle in between the inlet and vacuum pump (black round thing on bulk head) from the lil valve 2 white wires go to a white box, from the white box there's a reb,blue and black wire going into the ECU...
  2. no, bought the standard manifold to put in place of the schrick, so the schrick is NOW mine.... And cost me £80.... just need the rest of the engine to go with it now! Any ideas on the allan key size?
  3. When taking one off, what/how shud I do it, just rip the thing off with the air valve thing and processor.. ? And, this IS all poss without hoisting the engine isn't it? What size allan key bolts are they? Thanks
  4. How good is this! My new toy, although wont be in use, but will polishing it Not bad for £80, and that was for the standard manifold that im putting on there!

  6. The cult mirrors are OK, but too stubby for a mk3.. And you have to cut your existing mirror glass and take your electrics e,t,c.. Get PZwo's if you can find them!

  8. I'm pushing 137.9 DB with 2 12" subs facing the tailgate, from the inside, you can't hear any rattles, but outside, the boot lid and other various bits rattle so much its embarressing! The Golf for SQ is a great base, tbh, I'm bored of my bass and rarely drive around with it up at a deafening rate! I'd sooner sell it all which I will when I have my new engine and simply have a 10" sub and a set of comps! Just sound proof your boot floor and the lid, but you'll always get the lock mechanism rattles...
