Hopefully we can more turnouts like this weekend at other shows in the future. As has been said before, great company, great cars, great location and great weather! :-) Felt left out not having a highline though! :-) As for Club Lupo, how I slept through their noise is anybodys guess! And how they werent over the limit leaving at 6am in the morning I dont know either...

There were two black VR6s on the M4, me and Claire (vdubgirl). Cant remember a skyline passing me though. We were on the motorway about 8ish?

Design 90's; how easy to polish up to bling

Paid £580 for mine with everything. They could do with a repolish though, when I get the time! £500 sounds good to me. -
I was going to go for these before I chose the design 90's. Love em!!! :-) They suit black MK3's so much. :-)

Usually get about 26mpg on average, doing about 500 miles a week commuting to work via mainly A roads. Some nice long twisty stretches that I dont hold back on either! :-)

Was it through bad driving or bad road/weather conditions? You are one unlucky person m8! Like the others said at least you managed to salvage something from it. Maybe somebody 'up there' doesnt like the new Astra? :-) [ Edited Mon Aug 23 2004, 08:54PM ]

Just sent my spare manifold and rocker cover off to be polished, hopefully have it on my car for Edition 38. Now to the question above, what gaskets do I need to refit the manifold/rocker cover if any? Also got a chrome fuel rail to go on too, so do I need to renew anything to refit that as well? Any helpful advice on refitting these would be great. Would love to do it myself but im very un-mechanically minded! :-) Lastly, is there anything I need to check before putting it back together, i.e. flush through the inlet manifold and fuel rail, etc? Cheers guys (and girls!) :-)
