    Adrian Flux are useless ,i insured with them only to be told that they would not cover my car for theft until i proved that my car had transponder in key for immobiliser , told them it had as i had had to repair it , they said i needed to get report for vw it my own expense! so i cancelled and insured with HIC, who were fine with same immobiliser bloke already knew that the transponder immobiliser was fitted by vw

    approx costs: ferry£ 55 fuel: 5 tanks( for me(from cheshire) camping E12 a day food&beer (i take most of mine) lap tickets e21 a lap cheaper if you buy more travel insurance (cost me under £10) take a look at other trip in past

    try setting rear shocks stiffer at rear to help stop understeer, make sure that your not to low at fount must not let wishbone go past the horizontal if you want good handling

    i would take some octane booster for supercharged cars

    dont flush your vr6 engine ever. the best you can do is use the proper vw Quantum Silver semi-synthetic oil it really is the best oil for a vr6

    the pump is to circulate water around head to stop hot spots.you can bypass it but only to go and pick up a new pump , thay are the same on all vr6s pump wise

    if your replacing the thermostat i would recommend you fit the lower temp one from neuspeed ,

    maybe try replacing brake fluid , i replaced my fluid and the abs worked much better and quicker , mine still stopped ok but was greatly improved with fresh fluid

    also if you weld a big line you can warp the panel with the heat

    mig is easyer , its all about practice and getting the settings right. its not as easy as it looks. if you not done much welding before just do small spot welds to start

    if i had my coilovers from new again i would buy some coilover covers.

    anyone interested in a summer ring trip ? dates 31st may till 4th June the track is open : 31st sun 8till 19.30 1st Mon 8till 19.30 2nd Tue 17.15till 19.30 3rd weds 8till 15.00 4th Thurs closed i was thinking a 8am ferry 31st travel to nurbug 2.5 days of good track time and travel back Thursday for 6pm ferry home its the week after super bikes weekend
