    heh heh, annoyed a 7 series earlier, overtook him coming onto a dual carriageway cos he got stuck behind someone and didn't pull out in time, cruised past through 1st and 2nd not giving it alot but kept my foot down in 3rd from well under its best point, he quickly pulled out behind me but couldn't keep up. I new he was narked cos I pulled into a large gap and he had to go past me and squeeze into a small gap ahead of the car I pulled in behind. ha ha

    Basically its classed as not as secure if windows can be left open, car can be started from else where etc. And yes you're right it is tight, I mean its not as if my clifford alarm is some cheap piece of crap. ~

    Yep ur right there, already had the smart windows so thatcham 1 was already out the window, (bad pun I know) but keep it under your hat please. Having said that i'm insured with Admiral and they only ask if you have an alarm, so it makes no difference at the moment.

    Done the first girl but not the second yet. Funny little game that. The footy one, but slow and pretty ticky, managed to hit the bar tho.

    I had my standard rs1800 festa up to about 125, had to turn off the A12 tho, but it definately had more in it. Quickest I've been in the VR so far is about 110, but only had it just over a week plus i've got std suspension so it can get abit scary.

    Your speedo should read more than what you are doing. I worked out that with 17's (ie larger rolling radius) then when the speedo read 70mph I would actually be going 73-74mph.

    I'm getting my clifford alarm fitted and spoke to the fitter yesterday, he checked the key and confirmed that it had a chip in. He said he needed both when fitting the alrm. I think it has to be in the car at all times to stop things from going wrong. Mines a 97(P) highline, hope this helps. Just checked and only one of my keys has got the light in it so maybe only one has the chip in. I can't open the second key. If you open the key up the chip/imobiliser bit is a small greyish thin thing on the other side to the light bulb.

    Confused me cos I ain't got a cd changer in the car, must have had one or they put the cable in anyway? Head unit is 90% in now just gotta remove half the dash to pull the leads out the way. ~

    Ok, so I removed my original sony head umit today, had to removed 5 or 6 screws to remove the front plastic surround and was treated to a lovely ear piercing alarm but I knew that was gonna happen. The question is, what does the black plug, (not the ariel) do which said BUS in the head unit. (I think it said bus, I was more intrested in wrapping up the head unit in blankets to try and dull the noise x) ) Also the ariel is not gonna fit my kenwood unit, are adaptors available? Cheers guys and gals

    I had the RAC look at 2 cars, the first one said there was a lot of noise on start up and they seemed pretty concerned, but it went away when warm, and the owner was not concerned by it. This had done, aledgedly 30k. The second one I looked at (55k) I heard quite a loud noise on start up but the RAC didn't mention it. I've had no problems at all so far tho. The engine always sounds sweet.

    I've only put normal unleaded in so far, but am switching next time I fill up. My mates F plate audi coupe quattro runs on super unleaded he says it made a big difference.
