Point taken, probably would have been better to say "if you don't like it, don't do it" I suppose its abit of a drug/addictive thing, starting off quite small and then multiplying, out of control. As I said people do still do these things, even with the top cars. But I can see where you are coming from. I know the VR is quite high in the insurance bracket, but super cars are (and I am only guessing, so I may be wrong) much more to insure and run and maintain, so a cheaper car to begin with is what most people see. I dunno? %-6 !ill 8o)

IMO, you can't just single out the VR, people spend thousands on every car there is out there. You can't buy any new car without spending, what, 6K, and that would be a pile of poo, but someone handed out the cash! People spend literally thousands on saxos, fords, vauxhauls, skodas, ladas, subarus, lexus, tvrs, porsches. If you don't like a car, don't buy it!

I had my alarm fitted, on the way home I booted it on the A12 in 3rd, when I went to change gear, the engine revs went through the roof. What had happened was the accelerator pedal had got stuck behind the plastic trim/kick box cos it haddent been put back in far enough. Just wondered what if any damage I could have done to the engine having it sat at full revs for 5ish seconds. Had to have my foot on the clutch cos otherwise I would have steamed straight into the cars ahead of me. :@

VROC - VR Owners Club, are there aby other VR cars, ie not VW? Logo could be VROC in the VR lettering with the 6 larger in the middle behind it. I drew it at work today only quickly with a biro mind, not good quality, and it looked quite cool.

Cheers vento, i've just had a scout on cgti forum and it seems that becuase mine is concept 300 the adjustment is manual, probably why it was put in an easily accesible area. Think yours will be adjusted using the key fob so not a problem to have it hidden away.
