yes mate, to get a vento front on a mk3 or vice versa all you need is the headlights,grill and bonnet. The wings,bumper and slam panel are identical for both cars. basically a vento is a golf with a boot (saloon version).

Hey all, just purchased a chrome fuel rail from e-bay, same dilemma as pete coz i need one to send to the guy in order to get the chrome one in return. my car is in the bodyshop so i won't be able to get mine off to send it away unless i have to.

the engine he is talking about is out of the audi rs3 !amazed which is soon to be hitting the roads. correct me if im wrong but to the best of my knowledge thats the car with that engine.

sorry to hear that you have to part with the vr, have you sold the vr or you gonna part ex it for the valver. well look on the bright side you can always throw a vr lump in the mk2 later on as time goes on!!! !amazed

damn, bargain aint the word. and only problem is a wheel bearing, how minor is that. what a result! enjoy, coz thats all you'll be doing, modding or driving it!

ok peeps, just placed a bid on the above item, but thing is its for an obd1 engine and mine is an obd2, whats the difference and will it fit on my car. i asked the owner and this is his reply: Hi there, Thanks for the interest. The manifolds are from an OBD1 corrado VR6. I beleave the manifolds from engine code AAA and ABV are identical. The throtle bodies are diferent and obviously the ECU. Should not be a problem. mint golf gti 8v in black till it got wrote off by a lovely lady. ~ Toyota corolla gt twincam 16v, wish i had'nt sold it coz this thing was amazingly quick. Mercedes benz c200 - bonus from work which i then sold to get a..... C36 amg. this thing is phenomenol, totally out of this world, but sadly had to sell to put deposit on a house, but not long before i get a C43 amg mk3 VR6!!!! my latest charriot which i am making in to a show car

to get 4 9 x 16 is very rare, the only way you can do it is by buying two sets, they will probably come in 7.5 x 16 front and 9 x 16 rear. once you have all four 9 x 16 you can sell the 7.5 x 16. As Valver mentioned the ones to go for are the silver rose edition which are totally rare. that curve sets off the whole wheel, germany would be your best bet if not you gotta search everywhere. Try porsche classifieds in the porsche 911 mag.

Hiten, you coming to mania coz forum was loads of fun. gotta say the 20v did rule, saquib was quick but then again shazi was quicker in the mk1. not much domination with the vr's only sukh and peter....so bring it out as mine wont be ready till next season.
