  6. Get the BMC CDA from stealth racing. there are a fair few VR's on here, and you will be happy with the gains and sound of this baby. Pete
  7. I went to VW, they dont know there arse from their elbow, they tried to tell me it was a non VW part until i showed them the VW logo on the part, the part number doesnt show up and VW can only tell me "what they see" on the ETKA CD. the complete hose is £62 inc VAT. told em bollox to it! Justin, If you can get one, mint! that would be a great help. I hardly think it's been botched, so dont worry guys.
  8. IF any are forsale, they WILL be in the correct place on the website. The CLASSIFIEDS section.
  9. cool, cheers, my ETKA CD doesnt pick them part numbers up at all!
  10. since my dastek and schrick manifold. my fuel consumption is LOADS better.... ive got a heavy foot, used to be at petrol station every 2 days, now it's at least every 4 days, didnt help that my timing wsa outta sync, which would lead to a higher consumption in fuel!
  11. top hose from the radiator, the smaller hose that u can see diappearing from the top of the picture goes to the header tank...
  12. I would get the part number off my ETKA cd, but according to the diagram, it's 1 complete hose?
  13. it does, but the part numbe is covered up by the orange stuff, if that comes off, then the whole housing will go...
  14. Apologies for the pants picture. It's where the orange bit is, the hose comes off my radiator, but the plastic bit has cracked, had to do a quick repair until I can obtain a new one, Cant seem to find it listed in my ETKA cd, does anyone know where i can get it from? Regards Pete
  15. had my wheels balanaced before i set off. having 3" of movment in ya steering wheel isnt good!
  16. mine wanders all over the shop. It's even worse if i hit a bump or a pot hole. I'd say the knocking noise when u turn the wheel is the give away, however it only happens to mine when it's striaght, if i have any sort of lock on it, it's fine...
  17. Hi Jules, you have the same symtoms as me, apart from the movment in my steering wheel has got worse. Vince said him self that the movement appeared to be in the ball joint, however upon replacing it, and having another look, he diagnosed the rack is gone. £180 for the rack, 2 hours labour at stealth to get it repaired. I need to sort my cash flow before I get this booked in, however it's getting progressivly worse the more I drive it! A tell tail sign that it's the rack, is that there is more of a noise from the right hand of the rack than the left as the steering colum is there.
  18. ahh! so that's your belt i saw today at stealth?
  19. dubloke has polished his schrick, and so has madmonkee, ive not had chance to do mine yet!
