  1. Well got the car sort of finished and drivable today still a few little niggles to sort and went with the miltek oval exhaust as the eisenmann required to much bodgery to fit with the us rear bumper and I couldn't be arsed! Heres the proof! Loving the difference the schrick makes! I now realise why people payed £2500 new for them! Will get some pics tomorrow of it after I've spent all day cleaning it inside and out, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Maybe so, but there is still no need to post insulting someone on something they have put regarding spelling or anything of that sort when you know nothing about the person, you wouldn't say it like that to the face of someone you just met, without knowing anything about them would you? IMHO comments like the above are what makes a helpful forum end up like vw vortex or similar, where people come to bitch and take the piss. That's my opinion. Thanks

  3. Well been a while but had enough spare time and jobs done!! difference is like night and day. Car feels planted and alot more eager to turn in with less understeer and gone are the knocks rattles and bangs!! So the car now has all new R32 cast wishbones and hubs, outer cv joints, new steering arms, track rod ends and ball joints, top mounts and bearings, powerlex roll bar bushes up front. R32 shocks and springs all round. R32 rear roll bar and powerflex bushes (keeping front std to aid turn in) refurbed trailing arms with front powerflex main bush and gen VW rear arm bushes with top adjustable

  4. Hopefully be doing that tomorrow:) got the schrick all fitted and finished this week, got all of the ecu, tank and that hidden in the scuttle,so that all you can see is the 2 vacuum hoses going in and back out to the actuator; Then for the rest of the week it was just more and more polishing and little bits of finishing and sorting out problems like changing the passenger door loom because the central locking didn't work because at some stage I'd broke the little pipe off of the multiplug....doh! luckily found one on eBay for £7 delivered. 8. Just another thing you could possibly look at, I had an issue where the car would crank over for a long time when it had stood for a decent period of time, if you left the car for 5 mins and then back in the car it would start straight away. It was the non return valve in the fuel pump leaking back into the fuel tank so the residual pressure in the lines was nothing and it had to pump the fuel all the way back up through the lines and filter. New one way valve fixed it.
