Took it to a local paint shop and had the works done. Not a bare metal respray, but enough to look presentable! Unfortunately I didn't get any photos of the process as I was away with work... Had to collect it from the paint shop owners house for some odd reason (him in the background lol). Think he just wanted an excuse to drive it! I thought I'd probably spent a bit too much at this point so I decided to enjoy the car and take it to some shows. Just use a new earth strap from the battery to the engine I had that problem on my mk2 easy way to rule if out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Larger update now. Hockey pucks for raising the engine. Started prepping the engine bay for body shop. It's been delayed now for the week before Christmas. Painted up my solid front mount. Started sound proofing. Started my carbon skinning on some mk2 stuff New injectors Manifold arrived Temporary fitted too the engine Test fitted the wastegate too That's it for now. Thanks.

Nice meeting a few new bods, even though weather weren't all that and had the jobs worth muppet turning us lowered cars away, I actually enjoyed it. Well done Pete and whoever else organised it.
