    I've ordered the tensioner kit from febi for my 98 vr6 obd2 as its done 158k and is starting to rattle so I started the strip down today, expecting to see some pretty major wear and all I found on the upper is this....... Is it possible the chain is also stretched and adding to the rattle? Thanks Stew sent using telepathy

    Sorry yeah its coil pack type engine very late on RAC guy tested at number 1 spark plug with an inline tester sent using telepathy

    Hi guys After getting another Vr in may it has been faultless until last Saturday, travelling down the m18 at about 70 ish , it lost all power so i coasted to the hard shoulder tried starting it again just turned over but would not fire. I had the Rac out and they read the codes, all that came in was lambda and engine speed sensor. So he checked th spark and nothing .... Ive changed the crank position and still nothing any help would be greatly appreciated Cheers in advance stewart

    well its pretty hard you have to buy a conversion plate from the states thats $550 then the engine brace needs to be moved back 3 inches the deck lid needs raising by 6 inches the sump has to be cut and made shorter should take me about 3 weeks

    well the new vr is for a transplant for the van so i can use the rear bumper from that to repair the other one but thanks for the offer

    i just made a purchase on the bay of another vehicle to my fleet an l reg vr6 auto so now we have 2 VR's a T25 panel van a mk2 driver and soon to be a 1973 bug ill get some pics up when i pick it up theis weekend. oh yeah to top it all off some woman ran into the mrs VR this morning and crumpled the bumper
