jaysVR6 2 Posted July 5, 2005 Report Share Posted July 5, 2005 Mate, I've seen a few of these covers around and in my opinion they look a bit pants. It looks as if your covering up a mess. I saw one golf at santa pod a couple months back with them and the engine bay was stinking and hed just plonked on the covers (real poo!) You cant beat a nice polished rocker cover and inlet. It's not that hard to do yourself and is much cheaper. If money is no object get an ally rocker cover from an OBD1 and get it chromed along with ya inlet.Just got an OBD1 rocker off ebay and the polishing begins this weekend! My original VW plastic one cracked and looks rubbish - wanna get the manifold etc polished aswell but im having a job to find someone that sells the bits I want!
