BUT were not happy with that...SooooooTomorrow Parky and Katie will be coming over to transplant the 3.0 vr lump in place of the old 2.8 one yeee haw!! J5KE F 0 Posted December 2, 2011 Author Report Share Posted December 2, 2011 Two stepsforwards one step back..!Well after a loong day Parkie and Katie both hard at it The old engine is out and stripped down and the new engine is in place!Shes running and so far only a few niggles!A huge big Thank you to the friendly local Vr6oc members who came to the resucue and to Bungy for his workshop and fabrication skils ;And a little sound clip!http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk273/jakefronda/neenaw/e3b1fce5.mp4Jobs to do in the morning are as follows...1. Whip out heater matrix from stripped vr shell and fit to mk2.2. Finish modifying fuse box plugs so dash works3. Install dashboard4. Remove MFA and indicator stalk from vento and fit in mk25. Fit centre console and wire up nee naw beacon6. Check fluid levels7. Remove lambda from vento and swap over8. Check / re-plumb breather recirc valve9. Rebulid front end 10. If time fit bumper and hide intercooler11. Give a wash.. Naaaa, why would we anna waste time doin that! 11. Drive it like we stole it;)12. Wait on a34 for bungy, parky and katie to pick us up cos it broke down (well lets hope not anyway)... Link to post Share on other sites
