Sump has been dropped off and is getting plated. then getting fitted next week along with the spacer. while its in the air the exhaust is centre centred cos it seems ot have slipped and is slightly wonky.

A lad from a local forum can do a sump guard supplied and fitted for £80

Been on the phone to MJ interior trimmers and its booked in for 2 weeks time ready for UD!

Still got alot to do

-front end repainting and a slightly bit of rust getting sorted.

-adaptors ned to be adjusted to sit the wheels perfect up front

-US centre console to I can get into my boot without dropping the back seats haha

-New tyres where mad camber and tracking has worn through tyres in less than 1.5k miles

-few other little niggly bits which I would like done

On the wheel front....

I got my replacement sump fitted today

Had a plated welded on the bottom near the sump plug becasue thats the part that hangs the lowest and catching. The head of the sump plug was pretty much in half where it had caught and the old sump leaking. A few scraps along the sump but nothing major

finally got round to getting the engine lifted at the front. I wasnt sure if just lifting the front would be enough but it seems to have brought the sump up quite a bit. There was still room between the 6branch and heat shield to raise the other two mount but probably about 10mm max.

engine spacer fitted

how it sits with the sub frame

Its not exactly flush with the sub frame as what some people have said happened when theres were done, but still any extra clearance helps

Cheers mate

Yeah the adaps are for the RFs. They don't quite sit how I want them at the front and could do with being in very slightly.

All about the stance

Interior goes in thursday for work and the car goes into HTG for more paint the same day :)

Rear coilies are no longer seized, so will be lower than ever for UD

Needs MOT before UD though....

Wheel adapters are getting maschine down today

picked up my new drivers seat from the trimmers yesterday. Not a 100% match due to the material being new so its got a satin finish unlike the passenger seat, so im gunna have too cake it in feed.

Goes into the bodyshop tonight to get the front end flatted down and new front end fitted

tyres were ordered yesturday for the RFs (and i will get tracking done this time so im not replacing in 1.5k....)

Got a rocco aerial fitted cos the base peeled off the old one. signal isnt the best but it looks oo much better!

Just cant decide on what to do about engine cover and inlet manifold now for colour choice ....
