  1. Could you put my brother down please, he has a scirocco gt2. His name is lance. I will pay the deposit.
  2. I will be going down to this. Will be mainly tearing up the strip though!
  3. Was good to meet you at the weekend mate. You have a great looking car there!
  4. I had a good time as well! It was good to meet a few people, and talk cars. I hope VeedubVR is ok i saw his car on the hard shoulder coming back, i would have stopped but only saw it at the last minute in the outside lane...
  5. Inside spaces are allocated to the national clubs i think. local clubs line up outside and its first come first serve!
  6. Had the day off today to get the last few bits on my car sorted. Long and short of it is that i am back on the road! It drives lovely and pulls very well, no real issues at the moment. The H&R coilovers are brilliant they damp perfectly and are very confortable. I just need to get the wheel alignment sorted out next week and i am done. For now! Anyway here are a few pics of it next to my brother scirooco GT2.
  7. Ford have been doing it for years mate. We call it a "stylised steel" wheel! Not alot of point in it really as by the time you have bought the wheel and the trim it costs about the same as an alloy!
  8. Booked into the whitehouse hotel in the end. Twin room, £25 a head for me and my brother! not bad i think!
  9. 1995 on cars have obd2 16 pin connectors connectors, but obd1 management. Pre 1995 cars have whats called a 2 plus 2 connector, which is obd1!
  10. Thanks people for the comments. Really chuffed to be invited on to your stand! The corrado is a daily so it is not a full on show car, and TBH it does show, but it is a good example that i will gradually be improving on when funds allow! I look forward to meeting all of you.
  11. Thanks, should be driving it by the weekend. Might have to get it machine polished so it doesnt look to out of place!
  12. Havent updated this in a while so here is two weeks worth of work! Engine is now ready to come out! After we managed to strip all parts off it is now just sitting there on its mounts. The lower splash panel at the front will need rustproofing and i may need a new pas cooling pipe as it looks a bit corroded, but its progress! Oh ans i had abit of cash left so i went and bought a raceland manifold and some heatwrap. It is easier putting this on with the engine out. Yep that was my excuse for buying it! With ultimate Dubs fast approaching, we had to step up the corrado restoration a little! Unfo
  13. I do like mystic blue and your car pulls it of brilliantly!
