oldmandon 1
can you clean rust ???If you rub it lightly it goes a light brown....rub it harder it goes black...either way it's not flakey, could be considered clean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol........Try Krust....turns rust into useable/paintable surface....HMMMMMMM.......I've seen it turn rust black and into a solid surface, but I wouldn't say it would last for long...... J5KE F 0
Thanks fella, but the work was partially done by our man parky, i'm just completing the project with my own twist! The car was originally meant to have a 1.8t but i dont like them! Now all theparts if the jigsaw are present, the guys at Storm have a mamoth task of building up the engine and testing in less than a week! This time next week, we shall be sat up at inters (or driving round and round running in!)Anyhow, somepics to wet ur whistles..Stat of play yesterday...As it has been for the past 12 months..1st job was cleaning up the prep dust, layer and layers of dust!Next was to refit all seals. One the worst was done, and allinternal seals in, i got thinking about shedding a few more kilo's..Out came the dash..Out came all wiring associated with demisters, fog lights, electric windows, radio, interior lighing, and actually everything that isnt needed for an MOT!On went the wing mirrors, drivers visor, boot and bonnet latches, door handles..Side strips, gear knob and passenger seat was taken from the vrt van..Rear plate, and my little addition..This is all very well but with less than 72 hours to go the real race is on..Guess what i'll be doing tomorrow!Waiting hand and foot on Andy, Alex and John at Storm starting off with breakfast in a few hours time..
