jaysVR6 2
Can you believe it, 25mph?!! I'd like to know how fast that R5 hit me up the arse. We were racing (naturally he was behind me!) We were approaching a speed camera so I broke from 60-70 down to 40 and he broke late, skidded like a bastard (no ABS) and hit me up the arse. So I haven't got a clue how fast he was going. Good thing was, was that I wasn't on the breaks when he hit me so all the energy just pushed me forwards. Couldn't have been that fast as he just scrached my bumber. Were you stationary when he hit you Mark? I'm just interested to see how are accidents were similar and how lucky I was. Sorry about your motor mate, atleast your not injured, have you clamed for whiplash? I had a similar accident in a Escort Cosworth years ago, I was a passenger and a mate hit us up the arse and I got 3k! . The vultures are circling around your slaughterd VR now, wanna sell some bits?!!!
simey 0
Can't believe your bad luck mate.
mark@vagworx 0
Jay.........I had just had to slam on the anchors to avoid some knob coming down my side of the road. I still had my foot on the brake as it was a split second before i got hit....hence all the energy was retained in the car and too badly damaged.**UPDATE**Insurance company won't let me buy it back because it was too badly damaged structually.....and supposidly against the law to release it to anyone other that a salvage yard........ Agreed a payout with the insurance company.....£5,200 which is good really.I'm going to try and find another VR, so i'm going to hold onto the bits at the moment
