  1. Hi I have not been on here for years. I have also not drove my Vr6 for over six months since I bought a new car(2008 R32). I Bought the VR6 on Feb 2006 with 55000 miles on the clock. It now has 130000 miles with 24000 done last year alone:-( I would not call it a car it is more it is more a part of me or an only child of mine. No mater what is going on the car has never let me down in 8 years, never broke down in 8 years. I can leave It parked up for months at a time jump the battery and of she goes. it still has the original clutch, timing chain etc. The interior has held well too.
  2. or you could get Kw springs and shocks. I got mine for not much over £200 with Vr6oc discount from tuning Werkes. lowers 40mm all round.
  3. I couldnt do without mine either my preassure washer was broke for a few weeks. It made me realise how good the foam lance is, lost without it
  4. Cheers Living on a Peninsula surrounded by sea the car needs done every 2 months, I keep it toped up with Werkstat Gloss inbetween. At least the winter is over now sometimes it would be covered in sea salt after 10 mins. Just as well i like to detail it.

  7. Yea I took them all myself. All the sunset ones i Just walked out the front door of the house pointed camera and snap, the rest are around where i live. I have got a panasonic TZ3 it is a compact camara but good. I would like to get a better one but whenever i save up any money the vr6 wants it. The sunset is over the coast of Antrim, in Nothern Ireland which is about 18 miles away. The rest have mainly the Mull of Kintyre in the back ground. Good luck with the new camera.
  8. Hi, you could try star performance in Fife or Bedrock veedubs in Motherwell. Have not used star performance myself (bit out of the way for me) but can recommend Bedrock veedubs.
  9. I got one last week £23.60 for housing and £2.50 for the seal genuine vw parts. Got charged one hour labor.
  10. Hi, I have KW shocks and springs got them for £300 ( Premium member) what a difference it makes and lowered it 40 mm. You are better to replace top mount bushes at the same time and get it Aligned/camber set up properly.
  11. How about a rolling road (power run) in Glasgow could maybe sort something out within the next couple of months. Anyone interested?
  12. Venom also do the Bonrath ones. I replaced my top mounts with ones from GSF just before Christmas and had to replace them In Feb for my MOT. I put new standard ones back on again. The garage that put them on said always use standard VW Top mounts. I have had no problems with them since then and the car feels alot better. I have KW shocks and spring kit very happy with them cost about £300 if you are a primium member. Nice smooth drive and handles very well 40mm drop all round. If you are getting new suspention check out your bushes aswell. I never and had to replace them all a few mont
  13. Yea I got the Autosmart from www.polishedbliss.co.uk (very good stuff) Pics were taken From outside my house in Southend, Argyll and Bute. That is the Mull of Kintyre in the Background and Dunaverty Bay is the beach. The Big rock behind the house Pic 13 is called Dunaverty Rock there used to be a Castle there many years ago.
