  1. Yeah but that flywheel isnt an oem flywheel. The 12v single mass is. I'm wondering if it'll help with the chatter. Shifter shifting isn't an issue, I prefer it. Good to get info all the way around, though.
  2. Ugh the manifold on 24s is a PITA to remove. Be careful with the vacuum box underneath the manifold, triple check everything is off, it has two support brackets, one on either side, behind the throttle body.
  3. So............I know the crankshaft of 12v and 24v are the same....... So has anyone tried using a mk2 single mass flywheel on the 24v?
  4. Ecs tuning is really good too, but you gotta watch it some times they price gouge.
  5. I'm really into ecs tuning. They've always came through with fast shipping. I have heard of others but I've never needed to search other sites. They always have what I need.
  6. Not entirely sure, do you still have all original equipment for the dizzy setup? It could be in the ecu.
  7. Full is better performance wise, but it'll pick up water after rain. Short ram is better for dailys.
  8. No. I've been in the hospital. Crazy abdominal pain. Plan on ordering one and a new rear main for my hatch at the same time.
  9. Yeah low pressure. No indication of low oil. I was thinking of pulling the pan and checking the pick up screen but not unless I have to do it.
  10. 3.2 in my Touareg has a random oil pressure light flashing. Usually after sitting running for a while. Dealer said pcv. They replaced it (it's under warranty) and it's become less frequent but still definitely a thing. And ideas?
  11. While I have everything pulled out of my car to replace timing chains, I'm going to try and clean up the bay. Coolant/PS reservoirs, rerouted waterfall wires, move evap etc. So on to my question. What's the best way people have found to tuck the 24v vr engine harness? Also does anyone know of a way to reroute waterfall without hacking up the chassis harness?
  12. Master, slave, hard line, clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing and pilot bearing.
  13. Had the same issue on mine. Years ago. I believe it was the master cyl. I replaced it all though.
  14. Make sure they center the steering wheel first. I know some alignment shops do a crappy job at it.
  15. But seriously, get an alignment. You'll lose some degrees in your turn radius if you mess with that.
  16. See how much this isn't worth it? Just take it out, you don't need it anyway.
