Which brake pads are people using At the min I have 288mm brakes up front and will be changing to 312mm since I don't need to do anything to the caliper. So was looking into ebc red stuff pads as been told there good now. Going for mintex solid discs. But wondered which others to go for as I can't seem to find them for my car.

As simple as that. There only 12v won't do any damage and won't shock you either. Just make sure the wires are not just wrapped round the terminals. Use some clamps so your still able to disconnect them.

Got these coming Genuine Passat vr6 exclusive rear lights Hard to come by in the uk and German eBay request a premium on the them.

I seem to have a hesitation problem at low rpm. If on idle I press the throttle to rev the revs drops slightly (hesitating) below 800rpm then revs. Also while cruising at 30 mph while the revs are low it's jolting the car like its misfiring. I have a cone filter with a cold air feed to it. Now I also think it could be the maf sensor. Now the maf sensor and throttle position sensor are fair new. The crank sensor hasn't been changed. Oh and I have a catch can with a little breather filter instead of the pcv. A little advice would be great help

Carpet spray glue works well. Most diy places sell it.

Next on the list : 312mm brake upgrade Sort heater box out (means taking the dash out) Sort the thermostat housing out with new seals. Change rims for some cheap steelies or something for winter.

I hate scene tax. 312mm carriers on eBay are stupidly over priced. I can get them for half the price from a known breakers who make a fortune. It's getting stupid now. Rant over lol

I'm going for 195/40/16 winter tyres. But I know a few people hho have been pulled recently because they have stretched tyres. Which aren't stretch as much as mine on the fronts. I have 165/45/16 at the min but will be changing to 195/40/16 but will still have slight stretch. I've looked through Google regarding stretch tyres and there's no law against having them. The 165/45 I have on a 7j rim are too much but I paid for them so I'm using em. My rim don't protrude the arch but the tyres court with 195/45's on hence why I went narrower. I just don't want to get any fines or points from b

What's the deal with stretched tyres and the police at the moment. As far as I know there's no law against them. The new m3 has stretched tyres from standard. Anyone got there take on this ? I'm taking mine off and lowering the profile and having wider tyres on for winter as it looks like I'm using it through winter now.
