The evo is probably the best car I've owned as an all round car , it was 420 bhp 415 lb of torque so a good balance , but my type r Scoob was more fun in track . The evo has such a good yaw control it takes a lot of the driving away from you and controls it . Were as the scoobs with there dccs gearbox means you can have more of a laugh . I shouldn't of sold the evo though tbh .

It was road legal tbh till I went a bit mad it's stripped big time for the weight factor , and I now trailer her to track days , and yes 800 first cost but cough cough don't tell the wife 3 grand later lol looking at 2500 for the turbo set up , such a giggle though

I paid 800 for the Clio , I've seen off many a better car in it tbh pound for pound takes some beating , it's all about having a laugh I think , cadwell is my fav uk track in the Clio donny in something 500 bhp plus , roll on next year will be doing spa and the ring , hope mareham is on as that's a blast
-
Any on here do many track days ? I'm a bit of a track slag tbh been doing them years , will be doing another 14 to 18 next year as they are a laugh , few pics of old n new track toys of mine
Currently running a Clio 172 getting boosted next year with a low pressure turbo set up about 240 bhp @ 850 kg ran scoobs n evos for years but the cost has just become mental hence why went French as there soo much cheaper

Years ago I had a car with a plastic clip on arm that held the seat belt forward , so easier to grab hold of when sitting down , the old Vauxhall calibre had them on as standard , I'm trying to find one for the corrado as the wife is a short arse at 5ft 3 and has the seat well forward , any one got a link for one as I'm struggling to find one , cheers for any help Gary

Hi all , I bought my wife a vr6 corrado last week needing a bit of Tlc it's had a v6 24 valve conversion done on the car , and everything was running great when I picked her up but yes always a but , there was a very loud clicking noise coming from the nsr panel ?? The car was then struggling to start so done a obd check showed fuel pump relay , wich I replaced , car still wod struggle to start so more head scratching ???
I then removed the rear panel were the clicking noise was coming from , to find two 30 amp relays , I did the old one of tapping them etc , still no joy .
So I then took both of them out and tried starting the car ? It started straight away ? . I've since found out that these relays are for the heated leather seats . So why would they affect the car starting in any form shape or manor is beyond me . Yes it's had an engine conversion but I'm scratching my head as to what these would have to do with the ignition of the car , any thoughts please as the wife really don't want to get rid me I'm just banging my head of a wall thanks in advance for any help and sorry for the long story
-
Well that didn't last long after a week of ownership the car is going back to the garage in question and getting a full refund as there is too many gremlins with the car I've put 300 into her already and still
Won't run right , not prepared to put any more into her , so anyone selling a nice corrado , must have good leather good history and not be a nail
-
My last impreza had it's headers , down pipes and turbo ceramic coated , and must admit it did help a lot with engine temps ,

Sorry to sound dumb , what's carbon skinning ??

Cheers for the welcome folk , yes she seems to go quite well with the 24v lump , got a few bits on her , tt brakes full milltek exhaust decat pipe too , has been remapped up to 246 , is great on midrange , there is a few niggles with her , fuel pump relay , sunroof etc , but sure over the coming months , I can get her up to scratch for the mrs .
