I built a vr6 turbo with a 3076 in 2006 it did 422whp at awesome gti dyno ! I broke 4 third gears in 5 thousand miles so I think I can safely say I know what I'm talking about . If 11psi is your goal and 300ish bhp is all you want then a 30 is fine but over 400hp you are really starting to work that turbine . Its exhaust manifold pressure that's the problem with a vr6 turbo ! I spend half of my life at a dyno and my friend maps one of the most powerful vr6's "r30" in the country , im not just going off what someone has told me I have been there a long time ago !

A 30 is to small ! At 450 hp you are almost flat out and just producing heat. Also you will have a big torque spike at low rpm that's only good for wheel spin or breaking third gear ! I would not go any smaller that a 35 or 62mm Borg warner with a big turbine housing

Buy a Borg warner s362 cheap as chips good turbo ! New ones have efr shaft and billet wheel only about £700 new .

You do not want this turbo on your car the t60-1 is as old as they come turbos have moved on in the last 25 years

I think you will struggle to do 600bhp with a .82 turbine housing on a vr6 ! On a 2.0 4 cylinder it will be fine but not a vr6.

I would love to see the power results of stealths on a modern dyno i.e. Super flow or dyno dynamics! what does there kit consist of ? Is there a market for turbo conversions ?

Can I ask why don't you build your own kit it's not difficult ! then you can choose your own turbo , management ect ect

Your engine makes 180ish hp at atmospheric which is 1 bar if you add a bar power will double it's that simple ! Unless you have cams things change then . At the end of the day vr6 don't do good power at low boost and that's that !

So a small turbo could produce 15psi on an oil tanker ? Don't talk silly will a 3582 do less power at 15psi than a 4094 ? No !

Sorry but 15psi is 15psi and at a bar of boost you will make about double the power of the car on a stock motor ! If you se 400hp at 15psi you are doing very well and I would try a different dyno ie not dynojet which read 10% high , also don't buy a gt30 they are far to small for a vr6
